Rules

Time Frame, (TF), is H4
Trade with the arrows once the bar has closed.
Set a Take Profit, (TP), of 50 points.
Stop Loss, (SL), is up to you, (I don't use it. If the trade does not TP, I leave the trade in and hope to collect it later)

Nice, clean chart.

Slight change to trading hours.

Regular Trading Hours (New York Time):
9:30AM-2:20PM (12 hour clock) or 9:30-14:20 (24 hour clock)

Extended Trading Hours (New York Time):
8:00PM-8:45AM (12 hour clock) or 20:00-8:45 (24 hour clock)

QQE nice Indicator
It can be useful if its used with ADX indicator. (3,5,8,13,21) Periods for M5 (7,14,21,48,144) Periods for H1 and Above

But That is not enough to make it profitable by it self..

Why Take profit is 50 pips, first of all it will not fit on different volatile markets..
Why 50 , Why not 35 or 55 ? I would prefer to find stop loss / TP based on ATR

Thanks SRT. I think you are right. Since I'm trading on H4 and just looking at the market now once a day it doesn't bother me much. Where as I used to sit in front of the computer all day long and could trade M1 charts, I'm now re-fitting a yacht and so needed to find longer term trades. Corn suits well. Thanks for your correction.

Thanks for your comments Quants. I use lots of margin so I can carry for a long time. At the moment Wheat and so corn at year lows and I don't think it'll ever become free. But, yes, I get the message and your advice is sage.

As for the 50 points; historically this seems to have the best odds to get the trade before reversal.

How do you know , Did you write a script where it looks back and gives the statistics to you ? Because only then it will be reliable approach

As you have exact entry points given by QQE
Maybe just hire someone that can look 100 or 500 entries and and print some stats then you can pick the best outcome for you.

Otherways its just guessing
However I am pretty sure if you go and check with 1:1 rr for previous 500 UP and DN entries you will end up pretty close to %50 WR.

The question is how you would take advantage of some analysis after you find them.

Maybe from lower time frame an opposite arrow can help you take exits on loosers..
Again depends on research to find best outcome.

Sure Quants, but let's just watch the outcomes. I'll record them here. And I'll let the failed trades also run without Stop Losses and let's see if they get picked up again. One thing is that when we see the market moving in a particular direction we are going to either have a buying or selling slant on it. I think this is a buyers market. In other words let the losing longs run.

So for answering the question, again, of , 50 points. Well, we know that all these markets are worked out by the players that create them. Rigged most people say. So, for corn it seems 50 points is the play. But we must keep our eye on the ball, because leaders change the rules.

Big picture view.
Corn (& all grains) are much lower in the price range than higher because of large supplies but price could still get cut by 50%.
Poor weather can change the picture in a hurry though. Just look @ 2008 & 2012.
