Disliked{quote} Chief, Could you please give your take on implementation of Stop Loss. This is a thread i created: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=656657 If i remember correctly, in one ofyour posts you mentioned that back in the day you used Stop Loss as big as 500 Pips.. ThanksIgnored
I've said it once on this thread before and I will say it again, do you think a dealing desk broker puts in a stop loss when they take the other side of your trade?
Hell no, and the reason why is they know they can stay solvent longer than you can.
How I trade, I can stay solvent much longer than the majority of traders out there. I can stay solvent if price goes to 0 and a currency literally disappears.
Most traders can't stay solvent if price drops 5-10%. This alone gives me a huge edge over them regardless of trend/fundamentals/lunar cycles/or whatever they hell you use to trade.
Traders lose 95% of the time. Dealing Desk Brokers win 95-99% of the time. Stop trying to think like a trader and start thinking like a broker.
I should say this really only applies to my trading style though.
