Easter in the UK starts tomorrow, I know that both the US & Japan don't take Easter Friday as a holiday but if you intend leaving any orders open best make sure what your broker is doing, mine is shut all day tomorrow. Personally I'll not be trading until next Tuesday.

Happy Easter all you good traders

Cheers Ziggy

Hi Ziggy,
I'm wondering a bit about your postings from yesterday and this one compared to your statements about your alternative concept of the "modified" 20/20 rule. When I got it right, the latter one is defined by 20/20 and moving SL to swing high/low as soon as the current price closes below the previous one (5 min). Also your original statistics were talking about a 48% "hit ratio" of 20/20. Both made perfect sense to me and I'm applying it (at least modified). Now, yesterday you mentioned a "hit ratio" of 68% and based on the EURUSD deal here, it seems as if you did not move SL to the swing high/low.
Short answer in terms of heads-up would be greatly appreciated, .
thanks in advance...

Markets are closed in the US, Ziggy, even if it's not an official holiday.

The moving of the stop loss is a way of reducing risk, usually but not always, it is an alternative approach where the main purpose is to get risk reduced - it came about because I was/am aware that so folks are taking mighty big risks with their account.

The info I posted yesterday doesn't involve moving the stop at all, hence the higher 68% strike rate - the downside is that every loss is a full 20 pips. The slope of the graph is quite consistent which is for my money the best part about it, but anyone taking big risks on their account needs to be aware of the health consequences - which is true no matter what your stop size.

Hope that helps but if you have any further questions I'm actually now off to take my mum to the quack (for any non Brits thats doctor )

Cheers Ziggy

Does anyone here work off a MAC? I can't manage to get the Market Profile indicator on to my MT4 platform (I'm working it through 'Wine'). Or is there another option, for instance a website with Market Profile as an indicator option?

Thanks

H

Is there a specific time when Dale updates the levels?

Also does anybody know how I stop from getting my post moderated as a new member. I put a post in the thread once before but it never showed up and I'm afraid it will happen again.

Hi guys and Dale, are you going to trade AUD level 0,7569? Do you consider it still valid? There was turn 3,5pip sooner and 17pips reaction.

I don't Know. I hold my limit order. The rules only says 3 pips. Nothing about any higher pips. So I think the level are valid.

You've gotta
1. open Applications
2. expand (view contents) of your MT4
3. Find where the indicators are
4. Drag n drop

That method above worked for almost all my custom indi's. The mt5 profile indi is significantly nicer though. To the point that I actually use both terminals now side by side anytime Im looking at volume

Dale usually updates his levels just before the EUR session... As for your question relating to moderating, it will be over once you get your (roughly) 10 to 12 posts published...

Hello guys there were no solid volumes traded today because of the Holiday. For this reason I won't publish new levels now. You can expect new levels tomorrow before asian session starts! Until then have a great day!

Excellent stuff, hope they work for you. A question for you if you don't mind, EU level is below its current ranging horizontal. Do you think that when it breaks it will be a train ride? Blasting straight through that level? Remember am a new trader so keen to learn :-)
