below the horizontal line a clean break, could just as easily go the other way and go long on break above cloud there's room to run both ways. pretty weak signals on AO.

Actually, you traded off 1M chart, where you have Range bar script attached.
You're suppose to put the cloud template on Offline M3 chart that is created by script attached on 1M - as that is the range chart you are looking for.

With the chart below I took a loss - My thoughts were -
1. I sold when it crossed the first resistance line.
2. The long term trend was bull and the short term was bear
3. I closed when PA broke the short term bear trend.

Yet the AO still has lots to go.

Which is the correct way to look at this picture - Is it to look at TL or AO? Mentors - Ure comments please.

I don't consider myself expert, just showed where it would make sense to short (RP could comment).
It seems the trend is changing, so this probably will be BE/small loss trade category.

Experimenting - I have been interested to note that when PA crossed TL and that the AO shows contradicting colour bar and going till it reached the longer term bear TL. Pse give ure comments. I noted that divergence is showing on AO. Profit 21 pips

Second experiment - AO shows divergence and buy on first/second contradicting colour bar. Closed order when PA crossed on the return support TL, Profit 16 pips

5 trades this morning all FX, passed on 2/3 trades on GBP pairs cause didn't like the visual on the charts. No home runs today singles and doubles but thats fine. Endy
you were right i traded eur/cad but my biggest win was an accident. I lost track of trade after moving to B/E a wound up letting it run which worked out but was not by design.

usd/jpy kind of chart I don't like back and forth without areas of consolidsation and this pair is like that most of the time, which is why I rarely trade it.

As for your experiments you are trading divergences, which is fine these aren't system trades though as you ignore the cloud. There is nothing wrong with that,
but you might find is visually easier to trade this way with just a ema and the ao and removing cloud from chart.

Be careful Morrishe thats a long time to be trading, one of the most common mistakes people make is over trading.
