NZDJPY Response On Support 77.00

Over 2 months in a down trend
At the end of January attack on the pair of NZDJPY at 83.30 failed. As a result, a double-top formation appeared on the chart and a regular sell-off lasts until today. The downward movement in that period was corrected on support 79.10, 77.70, after which both levels were broken.

Presidential elections in France have had a clear impact on todays Asian session opening and European currency exchange rates. The first unofficial data showing Macrons and Le Pens equalized chances and the belief that in the 2nd round of elections in 7th May Macron 60/40 will win over Le Pen has caused a long bullish gap on EURUSD = 170p. In spite of this, and a little unusual shape of the charts I still bet that the EURGBP pair will lose. Why ?

Pair is moving in consolidation from the beginning of this week, where support and resistance levels are set by orange lines on the 4-hour chart. Pair on H4 is showing a bearish trend, which has recently become a form of a broad consolidation. At present, the price has already left bottom of consolidation, indicating possible continuation of trend. It seems that a small correction may create opportunities to play PUT (SELL) options.
