Does anyone have trouble with the market profile indicator as in making the MT4 slow and unresponsive? I took it off my pairs and now back to working as normal?

I am new to the thread. Reading everything and getting updated. Thank you very much to Dale for the hard work and the amazing levels provided. And also to Ziggy for all the support and help.
I just wanted to ask you how did you deal yesterday with the short level at 0.7627 AUDUSD. It touched the level exactly one hour before the red macro news ( around 3 pm ). Did you take it and then dropped it 10 minutes before the macro ? Or you didn't take it just because macro news were coming in one hour ? How are we supposed to act in cases like this ?

good morning Manquito, I will take trades going into the news but not any less than 15 mins, there are exceptions such as NFP & FOMC where I wont trade for several hours before. I took this trade and took a loss on it

edit - I can almost guarantee that if Dale took the trade he would have used that pre news dip to exit it at either 0 or + a couple of pips, Dale does not keep trades open during "red" news releases no matter if in profit or loss

You may have too many days it is looking back at, try just going back just 5 - 6 days, hopefully that will solve your issue.

Can I ask why if you expect the Euro/Usd to go up to a level to sell Do you not trade it up first? To me this pair is coming from below so it has been on an uptrend. If this is just a pull back before it breaks and goes farther up then a buy from low would be good No?

I suggest you read my basic rules at post number 1. I dont expect market to go up/down. For this reason I trade only if my levels are hit.

Hi Trader-Dale and credits to you for fantastic forum you are running. Perhaps the most informative and helpful here on FF, making me to contribute for the first time here in four years since the registration and many more since watching unregistered.

May I ask, when entering you say you use Market orders - do you enter watching closely order flow on futures? What is your order flow trigger then? Is it bid/ask volume spike into the level, consummation of large bid/ask orders or something else?

Not to counter state Dales comment ;-) but thought it might be worth mentioning. I personally have used this as a methodology, using a POC as a target. I have some varying success and they are based on the general market forces at that time. I also trade Dales levels to and any trades where I use Dales level as a target I will take TP just before it hits or start to bank partial profits. Remember though that Dale is looking for a reaction in the market at a specific place so please ensure if you trial this that you apply the normal risk management. Remember that the market is often turned away early before it reaches a level - sometimes there are POCs or Support/resistance levels in the way before you reach Dales level that will reverse your trade very quickly. I hope this helps?
