Hi All,
First time on this thread.
May be a CWW forming on AUDJPY?
[End of a 5 wave Impulse Wave.]

Dear Parviz,
good work, i think thats its a good idea to draw the sweet zone, and may be wold be a good idea to put another option that draw the line 2-4 since point 1, if the price leave the first sweet zone.

This posibility, makes a perfect CWW, and Bill Wolfe some times do that, moves the line 2-4 (sweet zone) to the point 1

I am very sorry , please download again, the previous one does not draw the pattern, if D(5) goes higher than First Sweet Zone, now fixed.
D(5) now can Extend to the Second Sweet Zone.

Keeps getting better and better!!

Thinking about what has to happen to set up an alert. We can think of the current Price as a moving Point D, which will eventually become fixed or fail.

So in order to anticipate a successful D, we could look for the case where Price has moved say 90 % of the target given by the length of AB in pips.

so when C - Price >90% of A-B, send alert ......" bullish CWW developing"
and when Price - C > 90% of B -A send alert..... "bearish CWW developing"

Which means price is approaching the sweet zone and we can start to look for a possible trade. I suggest the 90% level as an arbitrary guess, might have to be less, would likely depend on the time frame, shorter time frames might require a different % than longer ones, no idea how to figure that out, might just take experience.

Actually an alert when c-4 is already in place would be greate to catch both movements.

Yes I believe your suggestion is what we need, but you know what happen then ?, then it will draw any pattern with 4 point set and give you all the waves which are not satisfying CWW definition, and many alert erroneously .(D(5) should at least touch or cross Line_1_3 and as our friend said less than Sweet Zone 2)

The best point for alert would be on touch of Line_1_3 ,for CWW to fit its definition.
And you know what ,the indicator in its current form wait for D(5) to be formed ,i mean as the last highest or lowest point of zigzag wave , and reversal ,before calling it D(5) point. so the logic should be changed too.

I think that you are likely right a touch of the 1-3 line is a safe approach, worst case is price keeps going.

can you code this kind of alert?

Hi Parviz,
Your work sounds interesting and I'd be interested in taking a look at the indicator in action. My platform is ProRealTime which uses ProBuilder for coding indicators. I am not a programmer, but if you are able to kindly provide your code in a text file I may get chance to try to understand how to code it in ProBuilder (?)

As i said ,i am a novices in both programing and trade, but i learned a lot from this excellent program from Talex who generously and freely shared it.
i got most of the ideas from reading and trying to understand his codes, he is a genius and, he even has developed his own method of zigzag algorithm ,which became one of the standards . here i share this excellent work ,and hope it will help you as it did for me.

Many thanks but I can't open it as I am not on the metatrader platform - that is why I wondered if the code for the indicator could be copied into a text file.

It is indeed a text file , only you need to change the file type from (.mq4) to (.txt) to be able to see it with any text editor

Did you noticed this ,D(5) has passed the first sweet zone upper band, and entered the 2nd sweet zone , and before reaching its upper band ,it start to retrace.

No , as soon as pattern is found ,and drawn , a find flag will set and don't search for it any more , if you want to have the latest result , it should be initialized again (go to another time frame and return....).

None of the indicators can find this EURUSD D1 CWW pattern .....
this has been manually drawn....
