saw that one but I was afraid of these wicks... then an iceberg order appeared but I do not run after a trade but if I were in the trade this would have been the confirmation for a good trade

After yesterdays trading marathon there are almost no levels to be traded today. Also there is very significant FOMC today (rate rise is expected) so it is better to stay away from intraday trading today. See you with new levels after FOMC today or tomorrow!

Yesterday was a great day indeed. I achieved some excellent returns. Thank you Dale.
I expect the market to be mostly sideways until each news event. Am I correct?
Take 1 step forward, two small steps back

I also expected that but I see $ weakening across the board.. the interest rate is priced in but looks like market is not expecting hawkish fed. For me it is important to get 10pips from my current AU short..

Mind to share what you mean by that iceberg order? What program/platform are you using?

Hi Dale,
I actually also spotted a level at 1.0638 and got +10.

I was a silent reader in this thread for a long time and it is definately about time to thank you!!
Thank you for the effort of putting out your levels every day but thank you even more for all the small hints here and there on how to spot some levels oureselfs!
I am always looking for Dale Style Levels myself and like to compare what I have found to the levels you are publishing - verry motivating and it helps my confidence in my own levels. I also trade them on E/J and A/J and think they react quite well there too.

I really appreciate your thread and the valuable information you are giving out! I hope you are planning to stay some more time because I signed up on FX Factory mainly because of this tread!
I don't have too much time at this moment so basically I just wanted to say thank you a thousand times for this thread and your kindnes to help others!

Enjoy youre day!

Yea, I thought there will be people who didnt trade because of the news. I entered after the news when I saw there was little reaction to it.

I'm more interested in trading futures, so I have access to the DOM (depth of market) using the jigsaw tool. You can see limit and market orders there.
There are many other tools and platforms out there offering DOM but this one suits the best for me.

But I don't want to talk offtopic here because orderflow / iceberg order / DOM / tape reading is not the main focus here so I'm going to send you a pm.
Sorry for the offtopic.

Congratz mate on your results yesterday! Thare doesnt have to be a sideways market until news. It is also possible that there will be small reaction to the FOMC because the rising of rates is probably priced in...Just my thoughts, anything can happen today really...

{quote} Morning Dale, Any reason you would disagree with my UJ level? Additionally, what is your method for converting from a futures level to forex? My technique is to compare the charts and find the approximate level. Its hard sometimes because the candles are different shapes, and therefore its not as easy as just deducting the difference between the futures price and forex.

Hi, sorry for late response. Could you post again yours UJ level, maybe with a screenshot? For eur/usd and aud/usd I usually count how far the level is from current price. For usdcad and usdjpy I use the same method as you do.

Hi Dale. I am a new member. I am trying to download your TD lines from your website Downloads tab with no success. What is appearing is program code. I was able to download the Market Profile with no problem.

Hi Dale,
I wanted to ask this question since a while. As your posting both - FX and Futures levels -, do you also TRADE both or only Forex? Just wondering as if you trade both it would mean strong correlation, right?
thanks in advance

So you count how far the Futures level is from the Futures price and deduct/add that to the current Forex price? Interesting...

I believe he trades Forex, as Futures is too expensive. Additionally, he mentions that he often triggers his forex trade if the level is reached on Futures.
So many in the Commercial section want to make me rich! :o

I wonder if orderflow could help you, since big players use automated trading, place and withdraw orders constantly. There is much noise there right?
