Still looking for CCI EA that opens at 100 for long or -100 for short. I've seen one that does the opposite but no cigar and its an EX4
If anyone knows of one ...just a basic Ea...please let me now where it is.

Here's the specs:
Need a very basic CCI 23 EA that opens on the cross of 100 line, going up, for a long
and -100 for a short. It should open as soon as it hits the cci 100 line...nothing special like after the close of the candle.. opens when it hits the 100 line going up...trade is a long!
Then "will not" open any more trades until the EA is deleted and reloaded. ... Also sets a SL and TP.......needs to be able to choose unit size.... It needs to ring an alarm when the trade is opened and not stop ringing until I defeat the alarm.

I will use the EA with other things.....basically when I get my set up I can turn on the EA and it tells me an order was opened by ringing an alarm until I defeat it.

Nice system and it seems easy to code, but we need to known your period criteria. How many previous bars do you take into consideration when applying this system? Does it changes for different TFs?

Also, I suspect it will work only in ranging markets, or very short time frames. Am I wrong?

I need Only Yesturday Closing price in all the Time Frame whenever i post it, Currently it works only in Daily Time Frame. I want the Closing Price to be same even i move to other Time frame for intraday trading

I hope I understood correct : you want to see previous day Close price, doesn't matter what timeframe you have actually on the chart. If yes, so please check attached indi and let me know if that works for you.

HI guys I am looking to draw lines every 30 pips from a certain time line automatically every day... so not round nembers etc as I already know there are lots of these... for example... i want to say set it for 5am UK time and the price is say 1.0222 and then the indicator will draw lines 4 levels up and 4 levels down from that price every 30 pips. or to whatever I set the pip requirement to be. I know nothing about indicators or how easy this is to code or indeed if there is already something like this out there any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I added sendnotification to your indi. Did not test it but I think should work good.
Let me know when you will test it.

Important things you must keep in mind to have it working :

1. check if you have configured mt4 to work with notications : Tools->Options->Notifications and there must be MetaQuotes ID entered + push notifications enabled.

2. from mql4 reference : "Strict use restrictions are set for the SendNotification() function: no more than 2 calls per second and not more than 10 calls per minute. Monitoring the frequency of use is dynamic. The function can be disabled in case of the restriction violation..."

3. from mql4 reference : "SendNotification() function does not work in the StrategyTester."

Hello all,

I am looking to trade on H4 D1 Charts since I just want to do some investments on the long run. I recently got a day job and that leaves to little no time for day trading.
This said I am looking to identify the price variations (High/Low & Average) from H4, D1, W1 and M1 charts. After some research I found out this topic https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=347946 and the ay-PercentGraph.mq4 would be just a perfect match for what I want to achieve. The problem is that the Indi is not currently working for me, and is giving me an error about divide for 0 (on EA log's). Looking at the code I can't find out why he is currently have a value that is divided by 0. Maybe it needs to be compiled again? i don't know and that is why I am here. Looking for someone more experienced that might know how to solve the problem.

I attached the indi to this post but it can also be found on the thread I mentioned.

I would recommend to check version of mt4 you use, I use build 1045 and this indi works pretty good - at least during this several minutes when I tested it.
So go to Help->About and check what is your build version.

I also have the Build 1045 and it does not work :S Maybe it's a prefix/suffix trouble? My broker as an 'i' suffix (EURUSDi)? I already tried to edit the code for this suffix but still nothing. Really strange... Attached is the error i get.

Do you have any idea?

I need help to put an simple Alert pop up every time the indicator MA In Color changes its color. The color indicate the currency trend, I really have tried do it but not success.
I found another indicator called Slope Directional Line Alert, this has the alert that I need, but this indicator don't work, I try it in differents MT4 platforms.

Your screenshot gives the information you need ( line 68 and the column 40) so that is where the issue is, try putting in a zero divide code fix in the code at that point. Sometimes zero divide can happen only at the beginning of a trading day due to lack of data and very small values.

something like this :
val1 = MathRound((valx - valz) / valdiv);
should be this :
if (valdiv!=0)
val1 = MathRound((valx - valz) / valdiv);
else val1 = 0;

HI I use the same broker and have updated to the latest Mt4 1052 and i Get it with no suffix much better conditions now have to say
i cant be bothered to add suffix .. hope it works well for you too

Already tried on 3 different brokers and in none of them works. All of them I get the error divide by 0. This is some kind of satan work!

I don't clearly see it. I see the error on line 68 and it divides by ' /o ' so I am assuming that the variable o is empty or 0. But I can't really get it because the o variable is some kind of array? I can't really get it... Some kind of help?

After trying some debug I can see that when he enter on line 68 all values comes with 0... any thoughts?

Tried also on XM Demo account is not working either here... what is wrong with me!?

try attached indi, just tested on xm and oanda, works on both from my computer.
