nobody can answer exactly to that.why? because there are 100 answers for 100 pips move for example,and so on above.you can find a possible supply in a lower tf,you can fix a tp based on your money management you can risk more and target higher tf supply zones ,there are many ways.manage your trades based on your own decisions even if you do mistakes is important to do mistakes ,and go back see where you was wrong and why.is called practice and self education.

in time you must learn to not ask such questions and put your sl/tp in the way you like and in accord with the risk you afford.
conservative for low DD and decent profits on short time or not conservative and expect and accept bigger DD for medium and long term.this really depends on each trader and none are the same.
if i tell you today i secured my sl in profit at nzdusd at 120 pips for a trade short from last week and tomorow i will trade again nzdusd and i put tp at 15 pips... this tells you nothing.because not all days are the same and every new day we have different market action.
you need to act and rely on market and not dream to make market rely on your rules cos you will get wiped out.is called trade what you see not what you hope.
when you will be in a trade and exit at 20 pips .then that pair will still go 50 pips more made you think ''heck should i stay it more''... but you have the power and control to stay out and calm with that 20 pips profit then you can say you are in control.things are simple,you jump for more then be ready to fall more.as a beginer in this the faster you consider to book profit the best.and remember a day with no trades is a day with no loss,so youre good.if youre not confident DONT enter,go spare time with your family or do other things relax.market will be there tomorow and will give you a lot of chances and you have the tools and the brain to learn.

I totally understand what you're saying Husky!

I then think it is best to manage M15 as it'll bring to book profits sooner, will less drawdown.

Any idea why the "SUPPLY" or "DEMAND" zones aren't infront of price sometimes? what does this mean?
As picture shows no "DEMAND"? Seems as it was "broken"
Where should SL be if i were supposed to go long in this situation>?

if you dont find zones in a tf then switch to other one until you find something to get guidance.
what makes you enter in the market at this hour when spread is high NY is closed and we get near to ASIA session when usual we have range?

Not getting into it Husky, i'm just visualizing trades in retrospect to see if this method is practical in my eyes, which i'm sure it is but i'm just trying to confirm a style.

So it seems as if this wouldn't have been a good setup if i was looking for minimum drawdown, plus it seems as if the only trades that should be taken are the ones that show clear "SUPPLY" and "DEMAND" bars and while price has a favorable 1:1+ r/r ratio.

Did i get this correct?

always look left,if what is on near left zone dont give you enough info to set up a trade ,stay away.find another one.

I see M15 and H1 aren't the best to correlate, maybe M15 and H4 are, and M5 is good with H1, what are your thoughts on this?

the bigger tf you try to get trend info the better.to get trigger use lower tf and there impulse can help you a lot.nothing cut in stone m15 not good with h1 or this not good with that .because every pair need at specific time in market specific visual tf to see left info.
normal with impulse we use to find and trade short trades as a daily trading,this means no trades open after night.
now for this strategy you need volatility in the market and that is at LO and NY. easy sets of 10-20 pips made during pairs little spikes ,rebounds,pullbacks on short time.
now as i said even if those daily trades are short this doesnt mean you jump blind without to try see the big picture of trend on higher tf as confirmation.

Bernhard keeps asking me to post so here is a trade from yesterday - Aussie time.
The top window is 15m and the bottom is 1 hr, Profits have been taken along the way and a small runner is left in place - probably time to close that as well. The fundamentals were that China's trade balance was a bad number which should affect commodity base currencies like Aud so when a support level was broken on audusd I went short - yellow vertical line.

M15 Impulse for trigger
With candle chart M15

faatkumo this was a gap trade trade, I used a break of support to initiate the trade and then managed it myself, don't get caught thinking too rigidly if a trade goes your way - this is still alive at 60 odd pips
