Hi Mate.

Maybe your "extdepth" is set at 3 or 6. Mine is set at 12. I change that setting around to see if I can get it to line up with the waves I am mapping. Sometimes though, you can't get it to match perfectly so I just draw the waves manually and figure out the pip movement manually as well to find the AB=CD completion level.

For my chart this is what it is set at. Hope that helps

You can play around with that setting. Try 3,6,12,18,24 and see how the waves change just to get a feel for it

Non WW related, I actually have a long term position from .6690-50 based on this important level and some other fundamentals.....and the infamous Quasimodo pattern (seriously, forex traders can't make up enough patterns!)

Hope we get a recovery here, a break below could get ugly! A break here would open up the door back down to .6680-60 area

Hello friend and thank you for using the template.

I'm sorry I must have missed your post. For that chart under "inputs" I had the "exdepth" setting on 6. I think the default is set at 12 so it isn't showing the smaller waves. I change that setting to try and fit the zigzag to the waves I am mapping, like 3,6,12,18,24

Not a WW mate

B has to be lower than X, and C would be lower than A. This would be a bullish set up so the wave would have to be descending, lower lows, lower highs

Keep referring to the diagram in post #1 and keep practicing, eventually it will be like riding a bike, you'll know it instinctively

yes sure buddy still missing precision, will try to be more precise from now, still practicing with smaller lot until i will found perfects set up

Expo33 could you have a look on this example - GY M30, what do you think you will do, will you buy D @161,80 % fibo outside the sweet zone or @ 200% fibo on a previous Support look left, or both or none ?!!
Could also found a tdi divergence @ both 16.8 and 200% fibo

This is almost a parallel wave, XB is nearly horizontal. Difficult to trade especially with this volatile pair. Hard to say in hindsight if I would have traded this, but if I did I would have been in from 127 to 141 and would have been stopped out.

It has already happened but I want to make sure I understood it correctly. Also where do you place your SL, and is the TP a bit too steap in my chart?

Looks perfect. I would put the SL maybe 10 pips above the 161FIB. Considering you are targeting what looks like nearly 100 pips, a SL of 20 pips would be plenty of breathing room for this trade and a very nice RR. Always can scale out a little if things change as price moves down.

The wave itself looks a bit rough with the price chop but what I like is the symmetry of time and length. For example, XA and BC similar length and time, also AB and CD very similar length and time.

Thanks for posting, looks like your right on target here. Also thank you for using the template and marking everything out. Also showing the time frame, date, and price is awesome so I can find the wave on my platform easier.
