Go with a broker that offers everything (fx, stocks, futures, options) and have an excellent platform (TOS) like TD Ameritrade. AMP also offers fx through LMAX with MultiCharts which is nice too, not sure about Canadian citizens though. For plain FX broker, fxflat in Germany accepts Canadians (and offers AgenaTrader for free). If you go to Dukascopy, make sure you choose Dukascopy Swiss and not Dukascopy Europe (Latvia).
As i already said, it is not wise at all to go with one broker, as it makes no sense to do it. We can argue that it is easier to manage all in one place, but that's if the amount is lower but something like 100k, it can easily be divided in 50/50.
I would personally go with either US or UK based brokers. When it comes to US then Interactive Brokers. As to UK then I would take a look at FXCM, Tickmill or IG Markets.

its the standard account; for cash forex you would still pay the swap costs.

Better separate your money into 2 or 3 brokers despite rarely to find one rekiable so how finding 3!!

Instead of going for a few retail brokers the better choice would be to go with 1 professional/pop broker.
Choice enough but no one in the retail space seems to know them, since minimum deposits often are 100K or more.

Trading with more than one broker can also be a good option to diversify investment portfolio in my opinion.
