Oh boy, another backtester .
If your backtest does not show results, which are good enough for you, there might be several reasons. One is..., you maybe right . So why not move on to another thread, backtest another strategy and follow up there. Maybe that's suits better. Nobody here, Dale at last, has to proof anything nor does anybody have to put on trade explorer .

no trade explorer, just a profitable trading account. It most certainly is profitable for me, if you look back you'll see my spreadsheet - does you backtest look different? I'd be interested to see your spreadsheet of testing to see where we differ as I'd find it really hard to lose money trading these levels

I appreciate your approach, as I also don't follow a thread unless I backtest a strategy (and obviously find it profitable). And believe me (or not) when I appreciate Dale, I don't credit him for past three to four month's results, but for providing us with a tested system. I have backteted the strategy for past couple of years against four pairs and except (May 2015 or 2016), it remained profitable for each month. Please, take some time to understand the method Dales uses to find his levels and mind keeping the forexfactory calendar on to make sure that none of your results are triggered by news-release. Hopefully, you will be able to find the "edge".

missed for me as well, & I add the spread to my long orders so it was mighty close but not close enough. Order now cancelled and lets see if any others are tradeable. Plenty of trades come from the levels, don't get concerned about those that get away - I wouldn't recommend taking any action other than to keep doing what we are doing and wait for the trades to come to you.

Ziggy - do you keep old levels that haven't been tested?

I have them on my charts yes, if they do get triggered then I trade them - but I don't have a list of them. When they are triggered I look back at my word doc that has screenshots of all Dales levels on so that I can record when they were last given as a level - this is just to maintain a record of how long between the level being given and it triggering. They may be some really old levels that I don't have, but as a rule I put a line on my chart each day for a level, and at the end of each day remove any that have been traded or tested.

No offence Ziggy, I am just seeking the method with potencial. Sorry to say, that Dale's method is not profitable.
I have use this method long before Dale started his thread, write EA, please check below.

So I know there is no edge. Method is probably to simple. You could Imagine that every broker at bank would trade by this method by now since it is published in public forum.

I have just checked on this thread if I am maybe wrong, maybe profitable trade explorer exists.
Spreadsheet is not good enough, you know that one could just erase bad trades from spreadsheet.

To anyone using Dales's strategy. Are you able to spot the same levels before he posts his or Dale's strat. must be ssen as a kind of signal service where only one person knows the secret sauce? Thanks

I'll give you an answer because you did that work. You are both right and wrong.
You are right because if you backtest the system as explained initially throughout the thread without understanding the details the results are not impressive.
You are wrong because:
- There are actually more systems or components. TraderDale uses at least 5 different systems to find his levels. Same theory but different ways. He was very kind to explain them all. I was about to give up because I didn't know this.
- The system requires a Daily Bias, thus filtering some losses. At least 10% of the edge comes from this.
- TraderDale's results are based on his own trades following his intuition, not necessarily all the rules every time. Ziggy spreadsheet is correct.

I don't want to convince you to be pro TraderDale or against. The system is not easy, it's not for everyone.
