Hi ! i'm a beginner in forex market and i like this thread method but i don't understand some where can you give me entry rule.
what about the trend timeframe profit area ?
how we know the direction of the price.

Not really any exact criteria on entry or exit. Just freestyle PA entries with an attempt to get involved in a higher time frame direction.

Couple of EU scalps on a downtrend with a generous stop and based on the H4 rollover PA..

when the price breaks or after a time these lines are still there and have to reapply the indicator again to make it show the latest S/R

Stick with the zones and PA and don't worry about horizontal lines too much.

I see you use several entries for 1 operation. About your money management: Do you use variable % risk? How do you measure your initial RR? What is the weight of initial entry and rest? I would appreciate it if you could explain your money management a bit, when you plan an operation. Another question: How does it work with high TF?

As for MM, you just need make sure the total of all positions doesn't add up to more than a preset % of account.

I think under 3% at any time is a good idea but less is definitely better.

Here is an example of sub 1% total:

10k account ---- 3 x 0.10 lots @ 30 pip stop loss = $90 total risk.

If the stop exceeds 30 pips then lower the position size or just take less entries. You don't need to be too rigid about it but there must be a total max risk you're willing to accept at any given time.

This principle would then apply to all time-frames. The bigger the stop (on higher TF) the small the position size.

The other thing is that you want to make sure all exits have at least 1:1 on first position and ideally more for the others for good RR purposes.

So eventually you calculate a fixed position size that covers all your risk under all scenarios. You can then focus on trading and discipline instead of crunching numbers.

Money management is a personal thing but without doubt the most important. If you ever place a trade and are nervous about the loss, it's probably too much risk.

I think a lot of people are dreaming of some kind of rags to riches outcome from forex. I was the same until I blew up some live accounts a few years ago.

Best to start with a $1k account and trade 0.01 lots to start with. If that account drops to below $700 then go back to demo for 6 months to figure things out.

Be prepared to put years of time and effort into this. Maybe it would take 5+ years screen time ... for some, maybe 10 years. For most people I would say don't even bother, since you can invest that time into more productive things.
