Good morning, after adding the indicators and the template, i can't see the ID long or ID short. is there a settings to activate?

These indicators and template are only for you to better understand where Dale puts his levels. If you want to see Long and Short lines you need to download templates from Dale's website.
HI all

I was asked by Radaway to post one of my wins and how I got there. As I am a newby I don't post any levels before I do them because well this could be just pot luck, plus as the phrase goes you trade at your own risk! I personally don't want anyone following me with some bad trades. So the attached shows USDCAD and how it formed one of my wins:

* set a buy limit order 1.31133 after I confirmed the short range trend was to the upside on starting on D1, cross reference Forex strength and WMA (weighted Moving Average)
* I then set my SL at 1.30781 which is below what looked like a strong support area, I assumed that if this was going to go for long there would be momentum here to carry it on.
* I then used Akifts tool to find a level on H4 and H1 to find a VWAP to aim for, I then shaved a few pips of to counter Oanda spread; I looked for an area price hadn't been for a while and followed the last spike in price using PA analysis
* I then sat back and let it go
It made about 45 pips

The red and green lines are support & resistance levels and they were there when I placed the trade. You can see on the counter swing that happened when I would of been at work, it swung back and would of made a 119 pip win back down to the lower range. Why didn't I take it? Because when I viewed the charts on that day in the evening the shadows were big, the candle on the 22nd at 8PM signaled a reversal to the upside and I thought to myself I best not push it! However reviewing as price was heading back down where it came from, if I had applied the same theory where the price had spiked on the 14th of Feb at 12 PM to find a VWAP level and on the reversal did the same theory as above , there is a level found with Akifts tool at 1.30746 to target, plus of course Oanda's spread on top would of made a great target heading the other way as a short. Obviously USDCAD is in a ranging market.

Also for the record, Dales levels do work if you follow Dales teachings. When I was able to watch them and not trade any that were tested or were impacted by the news I had wins. Sadly I gotta work so I have looked at alternatives. I do sometimes place limit orders if I have the time, but my mornings are mighty busy!

No worries, because I was looking for an area that doesn't cross my limit order and I believe when I drew the box on H4 it didn't, under H1 obviously does. However if you do drag further on to the areas you mention it does actually give the same level. Give it a try. Though I get your point it is part of that range. Will review on future trades, we all live and learn :-)

I consider your proposal useful and made appropriate EA modifications. Now you have up to 3 time Sessions.

  1. You may switch off any particular Session by entering both negative values as it is for Asian Session on the screenshot.
  2. You may switch off all timing and allow EA to operate 24 hours a day by entering equal positive values for any session.
  3. EA will discard tested levels during non-trading hours and red news events.
  4. EA will not delete any foreign objects from the chart.

  1. FFCal Red News indicator should be placed in Metatrader4\MQL4\Indicators folder.
  2. Please do not change chart TF EA is attached to.
  3. Please read EA manual before asking questions.

Thank you for your input. It would be also nice to have that EA opens trade with the percentage of equity or balance instead of fixed only the lot size.
