I had an especially busy week at my day job, remodeling a bathroom, and wasn't able to give trading the attention it required. To Re-cap the week, I did very well when the market opened and traded the account up to 3400 at one point and then Tuesday it went way South and I spent the remainder of the week nursing my way back up to about break even for the week. Lesson I hope to learn... Beware easy gains! Its even easier to lose it! Value all gains the same, especially Old gains. Its unacceptable to lose previous day or week gains I was able to prevent...
It's hard to stop trading when you are ahead, but consider staying discipline to daily and weekly goals and stop trading once achieved and stop looking at your computer the rest of the week and go play. Imagine working one a day a week or one hour, hitting your weekly goal on the first day of week or daily goal in the first hour. I'm headed to the beach myself, got a date with a fish. Not preaching here just saying that I'm guilty of the same thing and have found setting parameters and sticking to them breeds a lot of confidence as execution gets better and better. I've gotten to where I feel I can take money out of the market at will...and that's a dangerous mind set, lol. We work very hard at what we do, so when the market gives it to you easy....take it and run....Great advice "beware of easy gains".
Well its been awhile since my last update as I have been overwhelmed with a remodel project which was stressful and I haven't done much trading plus wasn't doing real well on either but its a new week and with that I feel clear again to trade and post more.

It should be an interesting week with trading oportunities as the stock market continues to slide and it'll pull currencies along with it
Several trading opportunities on a flat Dow Day... Missed them all of course because I'm slaving to a day job, still... Bollinger band breach and close on flat Bands is a good Signal on none trending days and here we had 3 on the M15 chart... If I was watching that chart all day, would I have made money today?? That's the million dollar question. Because if I knew that for sure... Byebye day job!
