Meaning short term trades. Do you have a set of rules when taking these trades? I know there are less rules required in set and forget but if I'm right a more discipline is required to trade intraday

{quote} Akt, I know that this thread is about SAD and I dont have the intention to use another method. As you can see at my second post I did the SAD analysis, which is the method I want to learn. Besides the title of my 1st post is Elliot waves and SAD ... so I am not out of topic. I just wanted to show the complementarity of the 2 different methods, with this one and only post. I wish you a good Sunday

{quote} Hello 4rXal-ghul. Thank you for posting this idea. Much appreciated If i may, quick question, why is that a supply zone please? (note, i agree with your analysis of it. However, your chart shows an uptrend with momentum still intact) best wishes

Thanks Akt.

I initially saw that area as more a "trouble spot" than a supply zone. However, when I look at it again it looks like it took out this blue shaded area:

And then there appears what seems to be a broken up momentum line... aggressive on the D1, but clearer on the H4:

Maybe I am looking too hard and over-analyzing. I suspect I am seeing what's not really there lol.
Again, going by my understanding of the methodology, I consider that area more a 'trouble spot' than a SZ.

What do you think sir? I really love to know.

Hi,
My analysis on AUDJPY.
Any feedback / comments greatly appreciated as I am new to this..

Weekly Supply in control and price is high on weekly curve. (EDIT - weekly trend is up)
Daily upward momentum broken and demand zone removed. (EDIT - however there is a daily trend-line in tact)
4 hr supply being created and respected.
Hence, looking to short at 4hr supply?? (EDIT - OR long at daily demand?????)
EDIT - Longs at daily demand???
Thanks

Hello RogFx

Thank you for sharing your ideas on the AUD/JPY
The most appropriate trade depends on your time sequence.

Longs are possible at the daily demand zone for short term income trades, entering on smaller intra-day time frames if the opportunity presents itself
Shorts for a longer term position are possible at the 4hr supply zone. As always with supply, the higher it is the better

best wishes

Hello addtoit.
Good to meet you.
Welcome to T.I.O.F

It is really challenging to comment on a trade idea without knowing the time sequence used to arrive at the trade idea.
However seeing your chart, one thing i would like to encourage you to consider doing is putting your stops outside the zones
The reason is that doing so would ensure you don't get stopped out unnecessarily and then see the trade go your way.
We never know where exactly inside the zone prices will turn or how deep prices will penetrate the zone or even how price action will play out once prices leave the zone. It may take off immediately or it may base around for a while, retesting the zone several times before moving

best wishes

Last few weeks I had more free time so I was playing a little with intraday trades but usually I'm focused at monthly, weekly, daily or weekly, daily, H4 sequences. I don't think that there are less rules. Rules are flexible, timeframe doesn't matter.
To break the rules you must first master them.

Thanks AKT. Here's my reasoning for taking the trade. I moved my tp before going to bed. Good call on the stop, I didn't even see that.

Hello addtoit-,
it would help a lot if you make things easier to see (timeframe and color of your SaD zones).
