Thanks for all the postings really is a great help. Can I ask a quick question, I noticed you were able to keep the last trade all the way for 62 Pips, If I had placed that trade I would have bailed out earlier when a few Green Bars appeared. Would you mind explaining your thoughts on why you had the wisdom to keep in the trade ? Was it due to the long sell Bar on the 30 Min?

can any1 explain the wicks in the renko chart?

why doesnt it form new candles? it has far exceeded the brick size settings.

is this a characteristic of renko bar during reversal?

open chart settings-change box into false(Show wicks true;false)

not sure about what you are asking.

when u open the offline chart, the renko chart is already loaded.

u can then apply ur own template/indicators.

Hello boys. If you are having problems with some thing technical, could you give more information about what you are using, EA. what size Renko Bars, what size in the EA. How many bars does the offline chart manager show, things like that. Then we will not have to go round the houses to give you an answer

It is not characteristic, look back at other peoples charts, how many do you see displaying this?

There were many points that I considered closing, but, I had identified the singles on MP and an S&R level down there and as the trade progressed other things like separation and angle on the MAs, the HTF candles, HTF stochs and MACD and last but not least price was moving within a pretty narrow channel. i did not draw that on my chart as it is clearly visible, well I thought so.

i dont really see other peoples chart like this. thus im very curious and think something is wrong with mine.

i tried downloading different renko template but all of them are like this.

really need some help or explanation.

Already answered question in this thread, couple times. The longer wicks are there for no other reason than because you refreshed your chart, that's it. Lack of tick data. Renko charts repaints, but swings and High/Low are kept. Also, lower the Renko size, bigger the wicks (after refresh). With mine 3 & 5 renko charts I don't have problem with wicks, only rarely. Your charts are probably not 3 or 5 but 0,3 and 0,5 - I can see it on your picture.

In the EA try putting Renko Size as 30 for 3 pip renko, or 50 for 5 pip renko etc. Some brokers you have to put 300 for 3 pip renko etc.
When you try to use a Trade Manager you will have to do the same thing.

If the problem persists you probably donīt have enough history loaded, you dont need years or months for Renko just enough days.

This is why I said what I did in post 8,354. The problem could be 1 thing or a combination. And as Matomi has said, this has been answered time and again throughout the thread.

I try loading the EA on the first page to my charts but its not working. I have scrolled through first 15 pages but couldnt find another version of RenkoLivcechart

It would be great if someone could share it.
