jnevins, I think it's somewhere on FF, anyway please find enclosed indicator, currently setup is 2 indicators in same window, first one Moon/Saturn, second Moon/Jupiter. That will be great if we can somehow backtest it with historical data. Btw. I can see you're expert with TS, did you try Quantum Figures, if so I would like to hear your thoughts about it.

Sharing this indicator is a very valuable contribution to this thread... I started running a backtest on Moon-Venus on the Daily EUR/USD and found that if one entered 3 bars beyond the turn signal a nice movement ensued. The maximum pips gained is marked. Notice the price movement is opposite the movement of the moon-venus oscillator. The period I looked at was from March 25th, 2016 until August 8th, 2016. Total pips was 2,490 and the number of days was 115 for an average gain of 21.6 pips per trading day... not bad!

...and another series.... I added a nice oscillator to help determine the direction to trade... it was recently posted by Mladen... average daily win was 25 pips... When vertical line is placed 3 bars after Moon-Venus turn if the RSX is high, go short, if low, go long.

I haven't played with Quantum Figures too much... but in an initial run on 30 min data, it showed "superb" buy and sell signals of over 95% win rate... here is the past 3 weeks view...

jnevins, Moon/Venus on Daily certainly look nice and for sure there is some energetic action in effect, try to add 120/30 levels and draw the lines when Moon/Venus is exiting "overbought/oversold (120/30) area", something is going to happen Thank you for posting Mladen's indicator, I admire him so much on his tremendous work in Forex community and thank you for your comments about Quantum Figures.
Another consideration (aside the cycles) shows that the Trading systems of the "Big Money" started to buy at the 62-% retracement of the upmove since the jan Low. Since than one cent up !!!

there are 6 green vertical lines on this chart . Would you please tell us what exactly Moon-Venus aspects they represent ?

GKarl, it should work, probably you're missing some additional files. Please find attached compressed file, unzip and place files into MQL/Include folder.

Can anybody of the TS users update the JupiterCycle of the S&P 500 since 2009 so that we can see what to expect later of the year.

I attached the planetcycles indicator just posted here to a weekly chart, the settings were fast planet Saturn, long planet, Uranus, heliocentric. EUR/USD data back to mid-may, 2002.

Just playing with planetcycle indicator, auto drawing dashed vertical lines on ob/os (dynamic zones) on EUR/USD.

If someone could clarify...Is the reason people trust 'planetary analysis' because of the expected affect it would have on psychology en masse? Or is it due to perceivable evidence on previous price patterns? Or both?

Humans are naturally hardwired to avoid and detest uncertainty.
Here are the results had I taken each trade in the chart posted on Feb 11, #7825, my "back to basics" comment, "One model to forecast next week... Back to basics... This is just the Sun position, geocentric, 10th harmonic to bring the period down to 36.53 days. The equity growth line is steady and growing. The time frame is 1 hour data, EST from my Oanda MT4 platform. Will consider other models to post if they look good...."

Net gain, 174 pips
