I'm confused and would be grateful for any help. I see the DB Gold attached to the SAR. I don't remember this being discussed before. It might be that DB will appear on the next H2 hour. Is my H2 chart in agreement within any one, or some strange occurrence in my set up. I'm using forex.com demo.

When either Green or Gold divergence attaches without regular divergence, this calls for an automatic reversal.
Life is too short to have anything but delusional notions about yourself.

Failed trade last night. Missed the Market News timing. Checked it at the start of the trading day, forgot to check before leaving trade open & leaving the station for many hours, also trading against and with TP higher than the 2hr fibo, for which I was aware i was doing, maybe not so smart. Lessons learned. Comments welcome.

Notes: 1hr Trend is Down. 4 horsemen all down EMA steep down and may almost pierce down through 1hr ROMAR - time will tell.
Final Notes for all three charts: We are in a daily consolidation with a down trend demonstrated in the 1 & 2Hr chart.
Market News For EUR/JPY/USA. EUR News in 11hrs after session opening. Close any open trades at least 5 min before news.

Summary notes: The 1hr & 2hr charts are trending down. @hr SAR has shown with gold divergence. approx 20 pip space between open candle and ROMAR on 2hr chart from SAR and previous candle touching the Daily ROMAR Support.

Entry: Entered for a long as SAR has just been hit on the 2hr candle previous to opening and the open candle opened higher than the close of previous candle. Target TP is 20 pips to the ROMAR & EMA resistance. I acknowledge this is a tight/riskier entry - hence the 20/40 rule applied - the TP is set under the Daily EMA Resistance. The reason for entry is the 2hr SAR hit, the Daily DB is well under entry for change of direction & TP target is approx half way between 2hr BBs and at ROMAR & EMA resistance, touching of ROMAR Daily & under the EMA Daily. Lesson from yesterday - traded against 2hr Fibo with TP above Fibo. Todays trade is again against the Fibo but today's with TP under the 23.6 Fibo. Yesterdays TP was above the 23.6 Fibo.
After 1st trade is finished with either a TP or a SL hit, i will re-evaluate and look for the short which will only enter if in trend with the 1 & 2hr charts. Short entry will be made under the SAR of 120.387 if and only when the 4 horsemen show a down trend to continue on both the 1hr & 2 hr charts.
Close any open trade by 0400hrs NY time.

I was wrong. Not one basic error, but two. There is one further issue I would like to clarify as it is pretty fundamental. I had observed that the EMAs were all above the ROMARs on all three charts. To my understanding this places the trading in *Trending* mode. (The EMA didnt cross the ROMAR until today). Can you tell me what made the mode become *Ranging* or *Consolidation*? Was it a case of some EMAs being super close to their respective ROMAR making the mode consolidation?

Here is my official first trading plan. I have been studying for a long time now.

Date: February 13, 2017
Session: Sydney
Currency: EUR/JPY

DAILY
ROMAR: Below
EMA: Above Purple
Parabolic: Top

Notes: White and purple have crossed, but not crossed smooth yet. EMA has crossed ROMAR. Purple is moving in both ROMAR and EMA trend.

1H
ROMAR: Below
EMA: Above Purple
Parabolic: Top

Notes: White and purple have crossed and smooth has crossed. EMA also has crossed ROMAR, and both EMA and ROMAR are in the same direction. Red fib is present.

2H:
ROMAR: Below
EMA: Above Purple
Parabolic: Top

Notes: 4 horsemen shooting down. EMA is above purple and EMA has crossed ROMAR. Both EMA and ROMAR are showing downtrend. Also, SAR attached without DB with gold divergence. This indicates there will be a retrace going up. Last printed EMA arrow was red, with a MACD arrow pointing down. Red fib showing.

Final notes: All three charts are moving in the same ROMAR and EMA direction (to go short).

ENTRY:
Buy: Only enter a buy position if white and smooth cross to show consolidation.
Short: Since SAR attached without DB and gold divergence, a retrace going up is expected to occur. Once the retrace touches EMA or the 38.2 Fib level, enter short.

No entry yet. Will post entry when I enter.

Well, you can't expect a trading plan to turn out well when you have only read the first pages, that's for sure.

Here is your answer regarding what causes consolidation: Once White crosses Purple on any of the three charts you are AUTOMATICALLY in consolidation and you can trade both ways.

Believe it or not, it is not a case of my not reading through.... I have diligently gone through each page collecting snippets and accumulated a stack of files updated each day. I think it is more a case of not absorbing & also trying to filter out the wrong info..... and Im sure we can all be guilty of that one time or another.

This is the last I will say on this disruptive subject. He is at it again, devoting a whole thread to slating Dana, The Paradox, me personally and many others in this thread. He completely lied about things in his new thread. This tells me everything I need to know about this guy. End of.

Hello Traders

A very handy thing to do is to go through the thread and cut and paste important posts into a word doc.

You can then search that word doc whenever you need clarification on a certain subject.

That's really good work - and it will pay off for you big time. Keep going with your studying and don't worry about losing trades, just try and learn from them and suddenly you will be taking more winning trades than losing ones, and eventually you will be taking nearly all winning trades.

Shaun I see the Gold divergence jumping from candle to candle, I thought it was set in stone once it attached
