I set the last price the program could see to Dec 20, 2016 in this example and the buy and sell signals are still holding up well for the following 7 weeks. Chart 2 shows a deeper zoom from the beginning of the year showing the buy and sell signals and equity curve..the pink background indicated the actual price data is invisible to the program for back testing purposes.

Hi jnevins,
Is there a tutorial on how to get the equity growth line and backtesting a setting on demo version of TS? If we can backtest on demo version, I believe more of us are able to contribute on this thread.

Edit: I found the solutions:
1. Set equity curve and buy/sell signal:

Jnevins.. Im little interested for vertex can u please see the day 6 feb.. And tell me why this day failed to obey aspects! Will be some way to know if the day will fail or just will shown by time!!

Moly , I am not sure I understood your question... but here is what I saw...

8:48 V. in Libra 180*
11:32 in Scorpio 210*
14:16 in Sag. 240*
all upmoving till 16:22 V. conj Sat. and
16:44 in Capr. 270* where it started rolling down in earnest...

Does all this degrees have like a manual to start with!
cause i have couple questions ,, Does all outer planets should have effect with vertex to price?
when to know there will be NO effect to the price?

You will only ever know after the fact. Develop a rule system for trading astro like any other system. Nothing is 100%. The universe is full of vibrations and there can always be higher cycles at play.

This is no cycle indicator. It is called extrapolator:

You must test different settings to find the "optimum" for the time frame you are using.

Here is a mid week update using the most recent two best projection lines, Earth-Venus helio 13h (green) and Jupiter-Saturn helio 32nd harmonic (blue)... Both agree to hold long until Friday close.

Hi all,
I'm gonna dump some astro-related mt4 indicators (using the astro-swiss library) here by the end of the week.
Notably the "equilibrium tide" Moon + Sun calculation, a very approximate magnetic field calculations (assuming that Moon is a single point electric charge) and electric and magnetic fields from the Moon assuming it to be a simple electric dipole induced by the Sun (i.e. a dipole orientated along the Sun-Moon line).
I don't guarantee success, but you can play around with them and decide if they will be useful for you.
If somebody has some creative ideas for astro indicators, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I have an idea that maybe we could use projection line to only predict the following one day, rather than full week, which may have higher accuracy.

The equilibrium tide indicator.

Equilibrium tide is an approximation that takes into account just the astronomical factors (Moon and Sun contributions) for the calculation of tide, and not, for example water depth, land configuration etc. Also uses the astro-swiss.mq4 from the above post. In this indicator one can specify the position on Earth to perform the calculation (the default latitude/longitude parameters are for NYC). Calculation based on formulas (119) and (122) in Shureman's Manual of harmonic analysis and prediction of tides.
Example: price of WTI oil vs relative height of tide in NYC.

Does it also need the SWISSEPH.mqh file?

Where can one get a recent SWISSEPH.mqh file?
