Hi,Ioni. Thanks for your system. Very interesting. I have some questions.
1 On your buy example when cci goes below -100 do we have to cancel the whole trade and wait for new cci 200 cross and sma13 above crossing cci bar, or we just need to skip the next cci 100 cross and enter the text one after some confirmation bar?
2 what confirmation do you use after cci 100 cross? One more bar to the up or something else?
3 how do you manage you open trade? Fixed sl 30 pips or last swing? Any trailing stop or move to BE? Attached trade explorer looks strange. Some trades are 0,1% risk, some trades even 40%.
4. Why do you trade pairs with relatively big spread? Is there any reason for this?
5. Do you trade this system for a living for enough time or this is just your plan?

Thank you for your interest.

I'm going to answer point by point.

1/ It happens quite often that the CCI retraces lower than the -100 level, for a long trade I mean and after meeting the required elements for entering . The conditions are not changed at all at this moment. You have just to wait the next situation when the retracement will be between 100 and -100 without touching this last one.
The only situation when I consider to start a new cycle is when the retracement of the CCI goes lower than the level -200.

I consider as confirmation a candle that closes above the high of the bar which closed above the level 100 or -100.
I just prepared a chart for you and this will be the answer for the second question:



One remark- if the confirmation takes more than 5 candles , we look for a new entry. If the body of the candle that confirms the crossing is above the body of the candle that crosses the line 100 but not above its high, we look for another entry.

3/ the trade once open: personally I work with fix TP at 15 pips, SL at the last swing- it means higher low or lower high, at the first candle that closes above/below. I have always an emergency SL fixed at 30 pips. I never work with TS because of the short target of the day. I have set the break even with the THV CaveManager at 10 pips, buffer 2 pips.
The TE attached is linked to a demo account and as a practice account I work on it to test this strategy in different conditions and to improve it. For my real account I always use 1% risk, never more. With this demo account I tested the strategy until 200% risk and it works. It means that if normally for 10 000 you have to entry on the market with 1 lot, for this practice account I entered with 20 and it still works as I said. I could doubled the account in one day. But it is practice, it was just a test. This is the reason for the changements in MM.

4/ volume and volatility are the only reasons for using these pairs.

5/ This is the system. It is my highest level in trading and I use it for living. It 's enough for me, I don't need more, I'm happy and in peace and I hope this thread will make other people happy and give them the smile.

In this case confirmation candle breaks the signal candles high but then closes below it? Some sort of resistance, so no momentum?
Do you mean that in this case we have to chancel the whole trade totally or just to wait for good confirmation candle?

When cci does not go below 100 we have to search for some other candle pattern to confirm entry? What patterns are the best choice? Engulfing or something else? Fractal break?

Hello Denzil,

For the confirmation you have understood how it works. If we don't have a confirmation, the cycle it's not canceled until the CCI breaks the line 200 on the other side, this is the only signal that restarts a new sequence.

If the CCI remains above/below 100/-100, the entry will be found with fractals and/or inside/outside bars, as I already specified in my previous post. In the same way, you should wait for the confirmation. Personally, I'm working only with these patterns.

It's very kind of you sending this appreciation about this thread and system. It's represents some years of hard work, I started all from the lowest level possible and I learnt everything. So, we can do it.

In any case we can make a comparison with others members on FF. I know some of them with such an impressive knowledge , some doctors or something.

GBPCAD sell correct?

Some example from todays EURUSD.
1. cci cross -200 (start to search for the short entry)
2. SMA13 crosses down the low line of bar from point 1 ( start to wait for cci cross -100 or some other confirmation)
3. fractal break pattern and cci cross -100 (you can enter after close of bar 3 becaouse we have fractal pattern or wait for the next bar (4) to confirm cci -100 cross)


Am i right, Ioan?
This is EURUSD and i think 15 pip target and 10 pip BE is too much for scalping trade.
