Still in USDJPY. USD quite strong into that point with JPY making an effort to recover but not strong enough. If we get a break above 112.333 this trade might take off. Have a small position open on it so let's see :-) that's my newby thought.
Edit: just goes to show what patience does. UJ + 10 even with Oanda spreads :-) I got the break above 112.333 and held on! Think there is more but will remain satisfied with a little win. Next bus!

Thanks Dale...You are absolutely correct about the correlation. When I see a situation like this where you dont know which if either one will work OR both I simply divide my normal position in half and spread it between the 2 so I wont get hurt if they both go bad.

From my newly understanding USDCAD is an inverse of oil. Put the charts side by side. Dale might have a better explanation then that.

Hey Beer....from a Macro standpoint you are right. However, for short term trades, I dont generally consider a macro POV. If were trading these for 3+ days...then you are absolutely correct.
