Seekinglight what do you think about the GBP/USD? Outer fib level, looks exhausted on both the four hour (with vegas fibs) and the one hour. Is this a good spot to go long?

Quoting chucuoiDislikedDear all,
I love Sidus-Bago's method. In this case, I feel good price to buy: RSI=19, price far from third Fibs, no big news release, but no signal from these method to buy event in timeframe M5. Now I have to sit and wait until signal appear? Do you think we miss lots of pips profit? Can you tell me What method we should use in this case?
Thanks!

Quoting SeekingLightDislikedEDIT: Found it, the RSI was only so slightly over 50 I didn't see it at first. Maxey had already said it's a fake signal so I didn't look at it again. Here's an approach: even if you had taken the long signal at 1.2826 on EURUSD, you should have seen that RSI went back under 50 and EMA crossed back lower for a short signal, at which point you don't wait to be stopped out but simple close and reverse the trade to a short, losing 13 pips plus spread but having entered a valid signal trade and going profitable again in the next hour..Ignored
QuoteDislikedI don't think keeping a trade after you see the EMA cross and the RSI cross go against you and generating an OPPOSITE signal is a good idea, it will just stop you out and like I keep saying, if it hit's a stop over 20 pips, there's usually a reason: the market is going the other way..
Quoting ArtamonDislikedG'day SeekingLight,
Can you elaborate on this as either I haven't understood it or it isn't clearly explained. Keep in mind we're talking CLOSE of bar for any signals.
The 5 crossed up thru the 12 and the RSI crossed up thru 50 on the same bar. As the bar progressed the RSI fell back below 50 but at the end of the bar the EMA's had NOT crossed again, therefore no valid exit signal. That happened a couple of bars later. Following that a valid re-entry in the opposite direction could be taken.
