{quote} Hi Too Slow, What does the Red "X" in your charts refer to? Thank you,

I have been posting charts with the red Xs for months.
You are the first to inquire.
Pay no attention to them.
They would only distract you.

{quote} Welcome, Oily. I am not going to answer your question directly - instead I have marked up your chart. I want you to take a look, then read the HOLO rules for entry again. Now answer your own question...Is this a correct entry? HOLOegforOily6thfeb17_Ink_LI.jpg;2175285 EDIT: Here's the second chart - same deal. 2ndegforOily_Ink_LI.jpg;2175297 {image} {image}

Maybe you should check ,thanks for the answer
Don't suppose it was worth mentioning any positives ?
like the fact I waited for retest of DL and bouncing off DS1
Maybe you should show some of your perfect entries.?
Regards Oily

You asked if it was the correct entry. The correct entry is at the new H1 Open level. Question answered.

We will point you in the direction you need to look to find your answer. People learn quicker if they do the work themselves rather than have it spoon-fed.

Whether you waited for retest of DL or whatever has no place in the HOLO rules. No need to get huffy.

Ok, thank you.

I tried to understand and work out where the Red "X"'s were placed, but could not come up with anything!

The indicator warned you, didn't it?
And why are you trading multiple pairs as a HOLO NOVICE?

As a learner, definitely not. Also, probably learn a bit more about this method, by reading a bit more of the thread and experimenting with tiny trades, or demo trades. Every trade is different, so you may find more experience will answer your questions.

The only way to learn how and when to trade is by trading.

freight train
noun
NORTH AMERICAN
a train for carrying goods rather than people.
"a collision between a passenger train and a freight train"

  1. used in reference to a phenomenon regarded as powerful and unstoppable.
"people do not see the freight train of fiscal chaos coming"

When price is moving in one direction and keeps moving in that direction, we refer to it as a FREIGHT TRAIN. Entering reversal trades during this time usually results in losses. For our purposes, a freight train is a really big bar/candle. Use the H4 chart to spot freight trains.
