DislikedControlling emotions is such abroad based topic that applies to all of life not just trading. It is very difficult to control emotions "in trading" but then have less emotional control "out of trading". In my opinion it is a holistic thing that needs to apply to every situation in life.Ignored

DislikedSomething I learn from poker - forget that the money at the table or in Forex in your broker account are real money. They are just virtual points until you withdraw them.. then they became money again. This way is a lot easier to control your emotions and not lose control.Ignored

Disliked{quote} this can backfiredo you know why casinos introduced play chips? Gamblers lost the sense of moneys worth once they have changed the cash to the chips.... so if you dont think of your account balance as real money you are going to take way too big positions. the only way to really keep emotions in place is keeping correct bankroll management and sizing your positions so your losers do not hurt you financially and emotionally.
