1 HR:
ROMAR Resistance
EMA Resistance
PSAR Resistance, eliminated

Check List:
Last MACD 0 crossing Down
Last EMA Alert Arrow Down
Last DB Attachment 121.259, bottom
Fibo up or down Down

Notes: 4 horsemen in downtrend. White/Purple crossing elimiating PSAR resistance.

Final Notes: Consolidation. 4 horsemen in downtrend on H1 and H2. DB and Green attached at the bottom. Retracement to EMA on H2.

Entry: Short at EMA on H2. 40/40: SL above ROMAR and PSAR, TP just 1 or 2 pips below last DB attachment between Fibo 23.6 and 0.0 on H2.

Evaluation: TP hit at 15:28 EST. Market retraced to EMA on H2 after attachment of DB and Green at 121.259. I believe there was enough consistency between H1 and H2, both in downtrend, and enough space to run down again to the DB attachment level after EMA hit. Maybe I should have waited until candle close; if you look on H1, the 12:00 EST candle closed above PSAR and the next candle opened above PSAR and PSAR did not flip and this is a confirmation for a down move.

Correct or just luck?

OK Marian - a very good and excellent trade. Let me bring this to your attention, with the others:

Always try to catch EMA crossing Purple within the ROMAR trend. The reason is because this will always give you 40 pips. Once EMA crosses Smooth it will begin to expand outward from Smooth. If you wait too long in using EMA for an entry you may get caught in a slider or a reversal. This is true ONLY on the H2. On the H1 the hits are on the Parabolic's. The only thing I can say negatively is your trade was a little late in taking it towards the bottom. But other than that - the execution was excellent.

Thanks shinny. I was correct then that there are actually only 39 candles in pradels chart including the candle at the far edge. No more questions about it.
Also just wanted to say that you guys that are posting plan after plan is not a good idea. Dove gives of his time freely and when you keep posting it is an ego trip and trust me I've been there. Post a plan here and there but when you keep posting you are looking for approval from Dana and that is ego. These guys are giving of their free time and when you get a compliment, there is no need to keep posting. Your on the right tract so post one here and there or else you are falling into the trap needing the approval of the pros. They aren't going to keep answering. They are there to help those that need it. Period.

You are stating that we need 40 candles including the edge. I know that and I'm stating that this chart only has 39 with the edge. I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer. Take a look if you will.

Buy:

Sell: Will enter short off retrace to EMA

Adjustments: Entered a little early at contour line, missed my ideal entry by about three pips. Set TP+40 SL40.

Notes: Edit (Revised trade plan).

Trade Evaluation: I feel this was a good trade my entry was 121.484, TP was 121.083. After SAR hit to reenter downtrend I still felt confident in the trade. The SAR price tag shows a low of 121.078. Terminal didn't give me credit for TP. As per the rules which Dove has laid out, I let the trade run and is still running. After the surprise BOJ high impact news release I would have closed the trade early on a live account well into +30 pips as it was not scheduled. After the second BOJ high impact news release, I feel these are not normal events that can be accounted for. This trade will probably go on while I'm asleep for the night so, I guess we'll see what happens!

I have already gone through the issues with monitors over and over. There are traders that trading laptops, out of date computers, not the right resolutions, and etc. So my question is what business is it of yours when I understand the situation and so do they. Once they can afford the right equipment, I am sure they will handle the resolution. Just like you stating for these traders to back off posting trading plans. I appreciate your concern but really, that does not concern you as I believe I am the one that can tell someone not to post plans because they are there with their trading. And you are not there Chris, so what is your excuse in not posting trading plans?

Right now exist Laptops and Desktops That is about 350usd 400usd (cheaper ones or maybe less), that can handle the enough resolution for the 40 candles. Only before anyone is going to buy a new Desktop or Laptop, verify first the Graphics Card and see what is the maximium resolution that support it and thats it.

so what is your excuse in not posting trading plans?
Trying to give others a chance. Don't want to burden you considering how busy you are with your ministry and I know how giving you are and I get annoyed at people trying to take advantage of that. Two comments you made on plans this week were exact to my plan so I hope I'm studying properly. I'm trying to be sensitive to your schedule and learn from the info that has been already posted as opposed to taking shortcuts which you have taught me to not do.

There has always been some simple rules here about plans, and there are very good reasons for them:

1) Post your plan
2) Post your entry
3) Post your self-evaluation and result

Once your getting 80% and your plans are spot on, Dana will tell you not to post them anymore.

And the reason is that other traders just copy the best plans to get a free ride - which does not help in learning. Things are done here for a reason, nothing is left to chance.

Hope that helps.
Shaun
