mt4 for tablet

Hello all,
Unfortunately I must do some of my trading at work, and right now I am using mt4 android and it sucks. My system requires a few indicators that I cannot add to the android version, so I was thinking of getting a tablet, however, putting the android version on a tablet will not solve my problem I don't think. So, what if I got a windows tablet? Would I then be able to use mt4 as if it was on a desktop and be able to add indicators and my system to the tablet and have it look like my system on my pc?? Thanks in advance for any help.

Let me explain .. you have your normal windows environment running all your tools/indicators. The host can be either your desktop or a VPS. You access it from internet through a remote desktop client.

For Android, you just need to install the windows RD client from the play store.

Apparently windows 10 does not support microsft remote desktop control. At least not in my version. The home edition that is. So I'm back to wondering if I can instal mt4 on a windows tablet and it perform like it was on my desktop again. Anyone have a windows platform tablet??

The nextbooks have windows 10 OS so I should be good there.

As mentioned above why don’t you consider buying a VPS that runs Windows OS. When you think about it there are some benefits to be gained by using such service. First of all, it doesn’t cost that much, there are some providers offering VPSs from $10 to $15 USD per month. Secondly, via VPS you will secure a slightly faster connection to your broker’s server. And finally, you can access it from almost any device you can think of, while still keeping the full MT4 functionality since it will be running on Windows machine.

You can use Teamviewer for remote control, it's free for private use. Google Teamviewer and take a look. I use it every day.

Windows tablet should be ok as well as using vps. Vps when trading manually is not giving you any speed advantage because what you gain on vps being close to your broker's server you will loose on the remote connection from your device to vps - it could even be worse then direct connection. And in manual trading those differences doesn't even matter.

Splashtop application, is best to resolve issue if in a Wi-Fi area.

Splashtop is an expensive one whereas Teamviewer or MS remote desktop are totally free !
