Hi Mathtrader7, I would like to ask how you're doing with EA Speedometer. I think that this strategy has great potential. I tried to build this robot, but the results are not very good. The backtest I had a 150% profit per month, and 9% drowdown, but in the live trading results are very different. Testing runs through broker Tickmill Spread 0.5. Hello Samatron19,

My speedometer EA is working very well according to my expectations. The big enemy to my machine learning technique is any anomaly in the market (such as price jumps which are not the result of red news releases, etc.) where it loses a few previously earnings. But overall it have been profitable so far.

Are there any plans to release the EA? Or at least the modified code which you use now instead of the original indicator. I've been studying short term volume spikes using the Better Volume indicator to predict reversals but this seems to be a better indicator for scalping.

The EA uses R language and some other machine learning packages which needs a complex installation and linking between MQL and other languages... At the moment I don't have any plan to share the EA, maybe in the future...

No, it is just one feature for my machine learning model.

I wonder how well is the Gaussian process regression perform. Wouldn't over-fitting be an issue? Do you use M1 for trading direction as a way to filter tick level trades?

I mean to write your own application c# or java with a right API or Fix API... because this type of trading, i think is not real adapt for MT4 but if you win $$ is okay !

Another comment : have you try other setting of speed or acceleration ?! by example your set to one second in the indicator post #1 but have you try 10sec or 30 sec ?

I see your point, but as long as our system makes money there is no need to bother with other platforms, programming languages, etc.
