Hi,
i dig out that old thread because i currently in love with market statistics and try to trade much more with it.

The indicator of the TO has some bugs and has no ability to show historical data. Therefor i made a new one. I hopfully find new companions that also want to trade that great strategy and we can exchange experiences here.

Hi!

First thanks for the indicator, I'm just trying it and have 2 questions:

1) Any chance one could disable the automatic chart decoration and the session lines?
2) Somehow it doesn't show me historical data? (I attached a pic)

Strange. It looks like that it's painting the informations into the separate window.

With this version you can turn every part on/off.

Ok! I have tested it with another MT4 and there it seems to works fine, so the problem is on my side somewhere -.-

Try the new version. Then you can use even a "clean" version within your templates etc.

Thanks but I'm somehow to stupid I can't find a setting to turn it off?

Hi JensItzig, thanks for your indi i will try tomorow, funny than today i incorporate the Vwap in our pvsra scalping system (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...32#post9425332 ),and as i m also interesting by market profile and volume profile i found your post and indi, may be i could also post furture test with this strategy here in the next day..?

Hi Ockham, I hope it will help you with your existing strategy. Since MT4 has no historical tickdata I find it difficult to use VSA correctly. That's why I will switch as soon as possible to MT5 when my broker is offering it.

i would be happy to have some companions here to discuss that strategy. Thank you.

Sure count me in, subscribed, even if historical data are not the same you can found on other platform like NT7, sierra etc.. we could observed on mt4 that price reacted pretty well on first contact in Vwap "zone" +-5 pips

Could you please advise the Expiration Date which shows up on the chart, are the forex factory members being used as beta testers or do you have a free unlimited version?
also the date is backwards so is it 03 November or 11 march ?

All my indicators and EAs that are developed for free having an expiration. I don't want to see them bundled in commercial packages.

The expiration is always 3 month from last compilation. So if no one discuss and use it there will be no newer version and therefore the indicator will stop then. Why? Here are to many consumer and collectors. If i use my time for the stuff I want that the members who using it giving back their experience with that. So everyone give what he can do best. I want that all leechers, thiefs and time wasters stay away. That's simple

hello does the indicator repaint, and how do you use it to trade ? Do you wait for price to go outside those deviation band ?

You can download all historical ticks from Pepperstone if required

Even when you download tickdata there you will not able to access it in MT4. You only can use them for backtest.
