Big DD is not bad in this case. 90strader average TP is smaller then average SL so big dd must occurs.

After worst periods think about take few days off or hide explorer. Publicly showing result it`s not good for mind I know sth about it
I`m limiting my Risk & trying maximize my profits.

Just stating what I see. His trades are in the red. Why doesn't he get out of a losing trade?

90s looking from your performance I feel that both of us have exact same problem. We cling on to loosing trade. I think it takes courage to just let it go and start again. You seem to be doing better than I am. Probably because of lower level of leverage or less movement in the instrument. I am not sure. But as an outsider, what I can suggest is get out of all of your positions. Take a couple of days off. May be take a couple of days trading demo and come back in the game. You are great trader but those short comings makes your trades miserable. I am exactly same and that is why my advise.

It is painful but take the leap. It is possible that if you dont get out you will recover but make a practice of getting out in time.
Gold is in weird mode. It was supposed to go up during festive season Chinese New Year. I might be wrong

Don't watch Gold alone...Always in relation to USD.

The real price remains relatively the same. It's the changes in the USD that makes the fluctuations in price

Just a tip from a rookie, if you wanna martingale you better have the tolerance for it, or it'll screw you over pretty fast. So far you're doing great only and I'm rooting for you only other advice I can think of is pull out your initial $3000 deposit if you haven't already done so. Good luck I'll be watching.

yes haha i totally agree with you on this.
i feel much more pressure after creating this thread, feel like people are sitting next to me when trading
and i was thinking how to trade and how to explain my trades at the same time, which is quite distracting
so i decided not to read all the reply here for last 2 days until now
i think i will get used to it, no worries

Yes, my trades were in red.
But when i am very confident they can turn green afterwards, i tend to not get out.

i agree GOLD is weird especially on Thursday, weak very weak

and my game plan is not prefer reverse direction
the problem on my Wednesday trade is i didn't follow my plan strictly

above are my trade that day.
1. fake breakthrough at 1207.3
it is not a real mistake, but i should have wait for a while to see if the sword line(can i give a special name on those red lines? ) hold to enter that trade

2. wrong entry at 1203
it is a very bad mistake which that place is no where near the sword line (real support)
and as soon as i enter that trade, i realize Dow Jones is going to breakthrough 20,000 (which make things worst)

3. wrong entry at 1200.5 1199.2
my game plan should be: seal the profit from entry at 1196.7
if price going from above 1200 to break 1200
but NOT adding position on that level (as if the price still going up, i still have profit from entry at 1196.7)
adding two wrong entry make my leverage go to very high level

4. reverse trade at 1196.2 1195
at that time i must say i lost my mind already
and if i followed what i should follow, at that time i should have added a long position on that sword line instead
which i can seal the profit at 1200 again later

5. missed entry at 1193
lost my confident at that time after entering that stupid position at 1203
and it is not close enough to sword line at 1192.6 and it bounce quickly
if i can get an entry there, everything should be easier

All in all, few mistakes in a row
1. not entering from sword line
2. didn't take profit at 1200 but added more positions instead
3. reverse trade (this is the most important thing to avoid)

Yes, i know that maybe the problem.
But i should say that i am not cling on to loosing trade every time
If i know the situation is bad enough that i cannot recover, i will SL
maybe my problem is i am just too tolerant on the draw-down?

hmm i am not sure if my plan is really martingale.
i think what i trade is half martingale + half grid trading? (i really dunno)
as martingale is doubling the lot size when losing but i just add a same lot size (unless i am confident enough, i will add more)

no worries, i already took some profit out
and i am planning to open 2nd account , fund $3000 and trade more aggressive there

Good going mate. However, I am worried about your martingale style. One day it may get you in deep shit. I want to see atleast one trader (may be you) succeed up to a point when he declares on FF that "I will no longer be very active on FF because I am retiring"
