sorry, yes, at +20 on the chart I moved the stop to BE, ie if the spread prevented a +20 it would be BE

First trade using your ea and it's a winner

If you could get this to manage position i.e. move stop to break even after so many pips in positive and also manage red news, then this will be a gamechanger! But as it stands, still a brilliant tool

Hi luckybay,
Unfortunately it is not enough information in your post.

  1. Have you restarted EA after the deal was opened or closed?
  2. What was written in the left upper corner of the screen? Was this level marked as "tested or traded"?
  3. What was written in Experts log?
  4. Was the first deal closed by TP or SL?
  5. How much time passed after the first deal was closed and the second opened?

It would be much better if you upload your todays Experts log. File -> Open Data folder -> MQL4 -> Logs. And some screenshots with the first and second deals please with opened Comments field.
It is impossible to help you without significant information buddy.

P.S. One more much likely assumption about the reason. Maybe you have switched your chat TF after EA was started. If si this caused EA reinitialization and all tested and traded levels were reseted.

Please do not switch your chart TF after EA was started. You may zoom in/out but not switch TF.

Could you maybe also incorporate the following business rule too, if possible :

"10 pips in 5 minutes is still okay I would say, 20 pips in 1 minute not. It is quite a difference I would say"

& Ziggy's Rule of : so basically if gets 5 pips away and then pulls back 10 pips I have recorded it as a test.


then we wont (hopefully ) face mishaps like what went through yesterday(when the donald starts to quack) or like the UC from today . Less debacles, better Trades

It is Monster Move Filter which is alredy implemented and under testing. I'll upload new EA version as soon as it would be enough tested in order not to cause you troubles. I have developed Monster Move Filter working by following rules. EA current (not yet closed) bar which is Bar[0] and the previous Bar[1] which is the last closed bar. And if one of these bars (High-Low) is greater than user defined theshold EA prevents to open Market order.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that the first EURUSD trade, long at 1.0697 was a BREAKEVEN or a LOSS?

Why so many of you are reporting it as a WIN? The price did not touch the target 1.0707 at 3 brokers which I checked where the spread is 0.1 pips.

Did you use other rules?
