The previous test was 4 pips away from the level so I considered it as not tested. Due to news it was a bit risky though.

What a pretty thread from a generous experienced trader! Happy to join! Thanks Dale.Below is my small contribution. It is DaleTM EA. (TM means Trade Manager). Being a programmer and being limited in time to babysit each trade I have developed it it manage Dale's levels, open/close deals, activate and discard significant levels. I hope this EA would help you to save some time and nerves and earns a couple of green pips.

As most of you will know by now I am a bit of a records freak. I have been back through the levels given by Dale and applied my usual criteria of avoiding both news & tests, and stood aside when the market is moving like an express train after a major news announcement, for example no $ shorts in the period after the FOMC news when price went up relentlessly. Other than that, I let each trade trigger regardless of it being a level given same day or one given 2 week prior. And I let them trigger in the Asian session unless there was a news event...

All lines remained live until either tested or touched, at which point I removed them.
I then simply recorded how far it went in favour of the trade before either the 12 pip stop and 20 pip stop would have been activated. I recorded other data such as time of entry, and basically that is it.
I did this manually using a combination of FXCM & GKFX Mt4 platforms, simply because for some reason I have blank info on both platforms which thankfully don't overlap.
It's a ball ache to do, but the more info you have (to an extent) the better prepared you are. All I will say is what I have is true for the past, but there isn't enough data to make precise conclusions from, but there is enough to make general conclusions on, like Dales levels are pretty 5hit hot
