Nasap has given a shitload of ideas that were documented with screenshots, so I really disagree with your statement.

Every day, I force to remind myself of the similarities between a sniper and a forex trader.
This is the very reason I have placed cross hairs in the bottom right corner of all my charts.

A sniper in the military has an edge over his or her enemy; their edge is unwavering patience, mastery of their weapon, and the ability to remain consciously in control of their mind and body for long periods of time in high-stress situations.
Forex trading is very similar…you need a trading edge (a weapon), you have to master this edge, you need to develop and maintain rigid self-discipline and control, and you have to execute your edge flawlessly.

Like Nasap and other traders in the MT4 trading the Gap forum, I have built my own weapon.
I know every single piece of my weapon.
Blindfolded, I can assemble, disassemble, tweak it according to market circumstances.
I would never hand over my weapon (only to find it commercialised for USD 99 next day) and I highly doubt any other trader would do so.
Even if you were to have another sniper´s weapon, you´d probably never be able to shoot with the same precision anyway...

Everyone can build it, all the information's have been shared by @nasap and @JibalaPasan in the forum. It took few hours to add such a system dashboard in $M Excel, including automatic trading for it.

No profitable trader would ever sell you or give his tools..... in the end "you get what you pay for" ...

Happy for you!
But it is rather cocky that anyone can built this in few hours.
I know basicly nothing about programming, so, in a few hours won't even start to figure where to start, never mind the building it part.
And somehow I am sure I am not the only trader.

Not that I believe it is necessary this tool for the successful trading of this method, no one had this in earlier days, and still seemed to get by.
I like the sniper example of LuXing, so along that line...
A rusty gun can shot someone just as dead as a sniper rifle.
Moreover...
A sniper while highly trained and has superior personal weapon, never post around selfies of himself, and his "kills".

You have a superior weapon, great,
You don't want to share it, fine
Why to parade with it then?
Keep it to yourself, show a chart you comfortable to show (like LuXing), and be humble to not call anyone 'worthless' not having a 'sniper rifle' or without the knowledge to build one.

want to ask

for this system, we enter at 00 level right?

but the charge price is always the bid price

so if you are buying (which is the ask price), should you still use the 00 level of the chart or .... ?

I used to use Excel. It is a good tool. Often I travel and I use to trade the laptop and Excel eats a lot of energy. That's why I use it. Similar information otherwise show.

Hi Everyone.

I am a professional coder, programmed hundreds of stuff for MT4 et al. both for myself and for others.
I know some excel but I've never liked it much. I am starting a new coding project for myself: write my own standalone desktop tool based on dashboard/correlation of pairs concepts, brought forth by those fantastic ladies/guys trading heroes in FF who awesomely achieved success with their excel/DDE combo algos. My goal is to make my own automated tool, not in excel but as a small windows program. I am a long time Delphi coder so I will put it to good use for this project.

Now the other part, I don't have a good enough grasp at the dashboards being used here and around in terms of its usage and what each element means and what each excel cell brings to the system, as well as on the logic for deciding on entries and exits. For this I need help so that I can program it correctly into the tool.

I am willing to share the final product with a few individuals who want to help and participate in it. Must be someone who already know and understand these systems very well. Eventually I might open a thread where the system will be journaled and where our group can interact (or maybe not).

I'd like to be PM'ed by a couple traders who would like to help define the specifications of the tool, someone who really know how to trade this system (I might expect some proof to back it up) and who want to have a software tool tailored to their needs, in case their needs meet mine.

This will be a private, personal tool and will not ever be sold or made public. It's sole purpose will be to serve the small group of selected people who designed it. Period. Once completed, I will maintain it for the group, as we see the money rolling in and nothing more than that.

I apologize for occupying this small space of this wonderful thread, I thought that in a way, as I get help, I might also be helping other people with my skills.

Interesting trade here on GBPUSD at London open. I was originally targeting 1.2110 but got put off when price went to a bid low of 1.2111 and exited at 1.2122 for +18. A good result but interesting that the original TP would have been hit.

For those taking multiple trades on the same base currency i.e weak JPY or strong JPY etc, are you not concerned you're magnifying your risk by the number of trades because you're relying on that currency to continue the displayed strengh/weakness? Why not simply pick 1 pair and multiple the risk?

JPY is never the base currency, but always the quote currency. But I do understand what you mean.

Yes, but taking 2 shorts against USD at 2% risk, or 1 short against USD at 4% results in having the same financial exposure but with less risk spreading.
In a sense, exposure to currency X is of course 2, 3 or even 4 fold if opening multiple trades against that particular currency.
Sometimes, I do bail out. See screenshot below.
My butler assured me it was a good idea shorting NZD against 4 other currencies during FFO, I cancelled them all (all would have been TPs)...

Every trader has his/her view of the market.
Many years ago, basket trading was my "first love", so I have certain views and have definitely thrown in a sniff of all that in my trading rules.
I am not the only trader, look for example at the second half of this post...
A couple of posts up Nasap pointed out pairing of currencies, a very valid point.
Risk On / Risk Off, from and to which currencies is the money flowing, etc. etc. all form part of a trader´s market view.

Generally, once the market starts moving, on a currency strength meter you will typically see the following scenario;
2 pairs: (very) strong
2 pairs: medium strong-ish
2 pairs: medium weak-ish
2 pairs: (very) weak

I pick the weakest (like this morning GBP was flooring it 15 minutes into the London session) and trade that against 1, 2 or 3 strong brothers.
In conclusion, basket trading style is not for everybody but once you get the hang of it, it´s great fun !

Back to manual trading the 00-level strategy. My trades today.

#1 EURUSD to TP
#2 AUDJPY to TP
#3 AUDCHF to TP
#4 GBPUSD to TP

I really never left it behind, but I strongly reduced the time dedicated to it because I tried to automate the whole process in a EA. I known many traders here have already walked this way, most of them without a consistent success. Me too have encountered many issues above all in defining proper exit levels.

Provided that entries are accurate enough, the next step is to find long term profitable values for TP and SL. So I've tried almost everything from different ATR multiple (e.g. TP = 0.8 + ATR, SL = 3.4 * ATR) to fixed values for SL like 35 pips or again to calculate the average of all the 28 pais and setting SL to half of this global value and so on ...

After a few weeks of testing I got results from a little negative to break-even mainly because after many winners in a row it came the unavoidable stoploss that erased all previous gained pips-

To counteract this event I'm thinking to insert a filter that stops trading operation for the day if an X% target is reached since wins occur with a greater frequency than losses. Of course the same mechanism should be provided too for an emergency Y% max loss.
One thing I've still to test is a much smaller SL to get a better R:R that is the factor that kills this strategy at least in auto-trading.

Whatever the outcome of this attempt, at the end of the day I gained some more experience and improved my programming skill.

Hey B, I always perk up when someone mentions programming! I have continued to work on my own dashboard but am not releasing any more copies now since virtually everyone who has subscribed wants it to work for them and make them rich and that's not how it works, at least not yet. You have understood the problem of R/R and this system is designed to take advantage of quick, short moves to make (scalping) profits, that is, the TP is less than the SL, but that requires a trader who can read and understand market moves. To automate any trading you need to let you winners run as long as possible with a TS. I have seen trades that just keep running but Udine and LuXing, among others, are willing to take the quick profits because they can see the opportunities occur every day, like your recent results, good for you. It's all a matter of fitting the trading style to your personality. Keep going!

Hi Eric,

for my manual trading of the 00-level system I've my dashboard too that gives me signals. Thanks to teaching and examples of other fellow traders here, specially LuXing, I can say that my toolbox along with PDF and BCC let me to get good results in the discretionary trading of this strategy.

A complete different story is the automated counterpart. I've made an EA that replicates all the conditions I use for my manual trading but at the moment I crashed on the R:R issue. Therefore, over other filters I can think of to to pick better entries, now I'm working on the exit part to see if I can find something that works.

My trade at LO (for me difficult conditions with sudden burst due to the aftershocks following yesterday Trump's speech).
