Bagovino Method

ok, that's probably rite. how do i add another fib line? i would like to be on the same page as everyone else. there dosn't seem to be a way of changing that on the indicator. thanks for the quick answer

Looks like Bagovino's chart has a fib line of 34 in addition to 55 and so on. It's possible to modify the original Vegas 1hour indicator and add / change these levels.

Am Just Stopped my live account to try Bagovino method at demo.... i started last week and i make some good pips there.

Hey dejonese... you right there's some fake signals u can see in the system... so Real trader who can filter this signal... check out my post and bagovino when we traded EUR and JPY with FIB Level (there was fake sell signal but we avoid it).

Anyway... guys why we fight lets discuss and send all trades here failed and success...

some hints i see in that system When RSI and Ema Cross at same time it seems to be strong signal.

Notes : Tick & Bagovino can you add hints about how to know its strong signal or its bad

signal.

Absolutely.... Post it all.... It's the only way we will learn. From our success as well as failures.

Your USD/CAD looks OK for short term... Maybe 10 -15 pips. The bias is short. Lots of resistance around Vegas Tunnel appoaching... Lets See!

The kiwi made a huge reversal move today. Entering the position at 0.6564 when the 5/12 EMA crossed over the 18/21 EMA with RSI crossing below 50 would have yielded a profit of over 50 pips. However, I sticked to my ACD methods and entered at 0.6511 to capture over 20 pipts but with a huge position. =) That's the beauty of ACD discretionary trading. When you've got multiple signals overlapping each other, you know when to pile up your positions for a huge winning.

You guys seem to be doing a good job picking up on potential signals... All in the green so far.... Now the tricky part is taking profit. Remember to use the fibs for profit taking as well as entry...

I just want you to know that I'm experimenting with an addition to this system which will help with better entries and exits. I'm testing it now and will let you know if it's successful... Looks good so far!

Again, any post any good ideas/improvements!

I haven't done enough work on this yet, however you may want to consider the entry position relative to the Vegas fibs and tunnel as suggested by Vegas. Here's something I posted in post #271 that may help:

"I've named the regions bound by the vegas 1h fibs as the following: between the tunnel and the 34 fib (at the entry bar) = N(north)1, between the 34 and 55=N2, between 55 and 89=N3, between 89 and 144 = N4, between 144 and 233 = N5 and beyond 233 = N6. Similarly on the South side of the tunnel I have S1 to S6. I'm considering setting entry rules/filters based on where the entry price is. The concept is just as suggested by Vegas, but I've just named the regions for my own simple reference. Naturally the rules will vary depending on the volatility of the currency pair. For GBPUSD, I'm considering long entries ONLY if entry is in S5-S6 or N1-N4. Similarly short entries if entry is in N5-N6 or S1-S4. Interested if people think this would have any value."

First sensible backtesting post goes to raczekfx who's been one of the most active and nice participants in this forum =) Thanks for that =)

Backtesting as in MANUAL testing works just fine, the charts don't get magically changed just because they're historical so you can manually step through previous charts just like you would see things unravel in real time when looking at the charts at each hour close once. This has already been posted along with using F12 for stepping.

I am quite appalled that if you try to post a pointer on how money management can help you get the most out of trading(which I can see other people have by now also posted about) you get flamed with lines like "go spew your worthless comments on someone else's thread who cares what you have to say!" and "lets not let these losers hinder our progress!". I don't think this sort of language and attitude should catch on.

I even included thoughts towards rules to improve the entry/discretion part which weren't originally mentioned.
Since this is another important point, let me say that it isn't nice to first post a thread posting that lacks any hint whatsoever that this isn't the complete system(it only said it's open to IMPROVEMENT and not that it's incomplete) and then 10-12 pages into the thread state "I did not describe it all as I knew in further posts we'd introduce fibs etc...".
Well if you knew it, why didn't you just either include all of the pertinent information in the first post or at least point out that this isn't the whole system. The way you posted it it sounded like that's all there was to it, 2 EMAs and RSI 50 cross. Please don't flame posts for not knowing about details that weren't posted yet.

I have also helped someone from this thread via PM to get the Vegas fibs and, like I said above, tried to help add some rules to stay out of bad trades(spikes, s/r near etc, the same things bagovino himself posts about) so I do not understand why I am being attacked by bagovino.

The only criticism I posted was about EMA cross and RSI alone sometimes not being safe enough and that was before dozens of posts which suddenly added slower EMAs and manual fib retracements etc etc etc. So all that happened was that indeed there was more to it and my questioning was warranted anyway. How does this make me the bad guy?

I don't think posts that keep going on about "What part of Bagovino's giving an IQ test did he not fully understand?" and calling others losers instead of providing clear and solid arguments, charts and education is a nice way to behave here and not good etiquette. It just turns FF into something ugly and I don't want one of the last good forums to turn to something ugly, please.

Also, to reply to the line
"the hundreds of entrys that state that the system works" from tick, so far I've seen renasdad, tick, pingpong and bagovino posting/stating successful trades. Most other posters are either curious, try to help or question it in order to improve it. That still puts the active traders of the system in the minority and they are not helping new people catch on if all they do is say well it's discretionary and I won't explain why and how to you, because your IQ is too low. And yes, I know, you've posted about how to integrate the Vegas tunnel etc already, my point was about the tone of the replies, not the lack of information posted by now.

Man, reading stuff here like "Don't go away mad, just go away." / "For the people that have nothing important to say, get the f**k out!!!! / Rainman... your test results are as useless as you are here. Your creditibility is also useless. Your as bright as a light bulb that is turned off. / RAINMAN...I can answer that question...what is missing is two things... your brains...... and your mother called to say that she wants the computer back. / You failed to run the test you were told to do... now grab your crayons and learn how to play with other 12 year olds. " is just not nice.

Please, keep things levelheaded and if there's criticism, especially well thought out criticism, take it as an OPPORTUNITY to improve and look at things from different angles, don't feel threatened, there's no reason to!
