AUD/CAD TDA

We are low on the monthly curve. If monthly demand gets reached and starts holding there is a lot of space to the upside.

The weekly is in a downtrend, momentum is down. I notice that there is nothing of quality supply formed on the weekly chart.

So profit margin to the upside is very good. If monthly demand gets reached I will look at the daily for buy opportunities. On the daily there are some SZ's in the way.

hello everyone, I am new to this thread. I trade using vsa (volume spread analysis) - wondering have you ever tried to combine your attitude with vsa? for example to filter best quality S/D zones? regards, s.

Hello everybody, I'm trading for about 3 years without much success, every time I think I got it, I end up disappointed and back to the drawing board. I feel like I lack a consistent methodology that leaves little space for wondering and I regret the fact I haven't come across this material a year ago because this is by far the most concise, well defined and logical approach to trading. Honestly I'm sick of moving averages, candlestick patterns and bla bla bla.

Trading is my career choice and nothing and no one will stop me from reaching my goal, my middle name is determination.

Currently Im on the process of digesting the videos and reading the thread and I sincerely hope you guys have room for one more student.

best regards and God bless

Hi, if I may:
there is no need to do that. Once you understand and feel the market (how it works, how it looks), you don't need any other tools.
To break the rules you must first master them.

I am starting to understand your point. Currently I am reading this thread, watching videos (BTB) and trying to feel it. I asked about vsa because this methology is also all about supply and demand but from completely other point of view. Yes, it is very probably that in the end my conlusion would be to leave VSA and trade only with SAD. As for now I am really under impression, very, very good impresion by mr. Akt - his way of writing, explaining and honesty are really the value by itself. My Grandmo always used to tell me when I was a young boy "people are good, never doubt it". Something inside of me reminds me her words when I am reading Akt words and his thread.
And maybe it sounds stupid but it was not the methology which made me to read and continue reading this thread - it was the person and his words, then the methology apeared to be very good as well

Hello Szymon. Good to meet you
Welcome to T.I.O.F

No, we make it a point not to as much as possible combine methods.
One method is often confusing enough for most people

I am aware of VSA quite well, as well as other methods but i am afraid i do not use them.

Welcome again

Hi Akt, thanks for the YouTube videos, they are very insightful. One thing I cannot get my head around is that what is the difference between quality and non-quality zones. Also, how do we differentiate supply areas from supply zones? Hope to hear from you )

Hello TaDaDa

Zone Quality is something that is assessed by looking at zone structure, how are the candles in the base, are they tight and nicely compact or wicky and wack, how many are they, how strong was the departure from the zone, etc.

Supply areas are supply zones, there really is no difference. What to focus on is really which one of those areas are of high enough quality for us to put our money on.

Hello Aji4713. Good to meet you.
Lade is doing really well for himself now isn't he?
Very proud of him. He has knuckled down and learnt all the lessons well.
He always has a question every sunday night we meet up, even though he is killing it now. Life-long learner

Motivation

An open letter to Dear Trader.

Dear Trader,

Are you not tired?

Are you not tired of being beaten up by the markets?
of going from one system to another?
Of blowing up one account after another?
Of not sticking to the plan and rules you set?
of being a victim?

Are you not tired?

I know you are. I know the feeling very well. I have experienced it too.

Well, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

It's time to fight back. It's time isn't it?
It's time to fight for yourself, for your dreams, for your family.

They said you wouldn't make it as a trader. Are you going to prove them right?
Are you going to let them say, "I told you so?"
You know who i am talking about, those friends, those family members, those significant others.
The ones who told you to get a real job and stop gambling when you told them you were a trader.

IT IS TIME TO PROVE THEM WRONG!!

It's not about the money. It's about the achievement now.

It's about proving to yourself that YOU CAN DO IT.
It is in you. You know it because you can feel it. It occupies your mind, your waking moments.
Just look within yourself for the drive, the energy, the motivation and the persistence.
Stop looking to those who don't believe in you for support. Look to yourself.

Prepare to change. Prepare for change. CHANGE.

Take the first step. Do it everyday.

Look, you already know what losing feels like, so what else is there to be afraid of.
You have blown up accounts before so you know what that feels like too. So what is there to be afraid of.
The worst has already happened.

Go for your dreams. Time to know what it feels like to win, to make money to grow and not blow an account.

Winning is possible. It is a decision. It starts inside you. Nobody wins at anything until and unless they decide they will.
The first character trait that ensures victory is just that, PERSISTENCE.
If you give up now you can't win.

So, dear trader, unleash the BEAST in you!!
Stop being the hunted and be the hunter.
Stop being the victim and be the victor.

It is a decision. DECIDE.
Act in your own best interest.

WHY NOT YOU?

Having said that, I want to share my analysis for I believe this is an important skill that I need to help face market more objectively and it is through this that my struggles will be picked. hello here4dapips
great question sir
filled orders are the candles on our charts
unfilled orders are the orders at the levels we trade at.
An estimation of those orders is made by evaluating the zone structure as mentioned above

hello karasinga. good to meet you & Welcome to T.I.O.F
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the dollar.

I have to say, for someone who has been lurking in the shadows you are spot on with this.
its almost like you were around the roundtable last night when we looked at the dollar, either that or you have a camera in my house

Yes, spike to X should be used, as well as the pivot low to the left of it.

What a great way to introduce yourself to T.I.O.F.
Welcome again
