The British pound recorded neutral session against the US dollar on Wednesday. The pair lost only 5 pips at a closing price of 1.3015. If the downward trend continues, most likely the pound will test the first support located at 1.3000. Otherwise, the upside, the pair will test resistance at 1.32000.

On Thursday, the pound fell against USD, despite the publication of upbeat UK data, as the US dollar was supported by comments from yesterday's Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen.
During European morning trade, the pair GBP/USD reached 1.3002, the session low, and subsequently consolidated at 1.3004, shedding 0.13%.

I use 8 and 16 ema for the market sensitivity price direction in the high TF.
gbpusd daily chart shows that market is change today downside ways to up side.

some key level is 1.2500, 1.2700
strong resistance are 1.2900 to 1.3000
today market break resistance of 1.2300
previous supports are 1.2100 and 1.2000
current market is trading below 1.2500

The pound recorded a second consecutive loss against the dollar on Tuesday. The British currency continued negative momentum and as a result, the pair managed to break through the first support at 1.2237. Meanwhile the pair tested the second key level at 1.2197 after hitting bottom for the day at 1.2199, but the breakthrough was postponed. Tuesday session started at a price of 1.2270 and the rate of closure was 1.2236.

The pound recovered ground against the dollar on Wednesday. The couple managed to get away from the support at 1.2197 and the breakthrough of the level was postponed. Short-term indicators remain in favor of the British currency. The session started at 1.2235, and the finale was put 88 pips higher. The trend was bullish, the highest value for the day was reached at 1.2352.

The pound recorded a powerful increase against the dollar on Tuesday. British currency registered its biggest one-day rise in nearly a decade. So resistance at 1.2314 was breached and the pair made a test on the second level at 1.2425. Short-term expectations remain in favor of the pound. Trade was opened at a price of 1.2044 as bulls guided currencies from the beginning. The rally of the pound strengthened after the statement of Theresa May on Brexit votes and so the closing price coincided with the highest value for the day - 1.2414.

I think the next support will be 1,1979, and the next resistance - 1,2417.

The pound recorded significant increase against the dollar on Monday. The session started at 1.2375 and ended at 1.2533. After steady upward movement the price managed to break the first resistance at 1.2516. If the upward trend continues we can expect a test of the next resistance at 1.2700.

Pound / dollar made a bullish momentum yesterday, topped at 1.2638. Expectations remain for up to test 1.2700 - 1.2790. Immediate support is seen at 1.2570. A clear break below that area could lead price to neutral zone testing 1.2500 but overall I still prefer a bullish scenario at this stage and any downward pressure could be seen as potentially a good opportunity to buy.

The pound recorded a slight decrease against the dollar during the first day of the week. British currency justified the negative expectations and the couple came to the support at 1.2408. If the downward momentum continues in the future, the key level will be breached. Session on Monday launched at a price of 1.2587 as bearish sentiment prevailed from the start. Once the bottom was reached during the day at 1.2465, the pound regained some of the lost positions. The finale was put on a course of 1.2485.
