Price may also reach the upper target without reaching the lower one (and vice versa).

If there is a chosen target on the chart (in this instance the intersections), then the time in which price reaches it (or not) is used as a barometer to determine the strength (ahead or time) or weakness (behind time) of price.

I'm not claiming it's an exact science so don't expect miracles.

This is something I am thinking about. Daily levels with smaller timeframe entries. KennyZ has been going over this a lot on his site. I highly recommend his work.

So if you can understand this, I will ellaborate more but this are the basics.

AB=CD pattern is the most simple and easy to learn.

Andrews pitchfork is AB=CD also in many respects

AB move then C is retracement near a fib level. For andrews pitchfork, you have to get a retest of C to find the valid C low, but the fibonacci level gives a clue as to where price will stop and can often give you an entry, because you DO NOT have to wait for a retest of the fork to show validity. However, a retest of the fibonacci level may prove beneficial as it gives you a second chance opportunity to enter. Using volume and fib and Andrews Pitchfork, you can see where the large players are placing their orders. Look up VSA here on forexfactory. It is something may start to incorporate more, only testing phase now.
