The japanese yen is very similar to the US Dollar in the sense that it's a safe haven currency, and is low volatility. It will rise in bad time and fall in good times, and it rarely has large moves, making it good to quote assets prices with. I use it instead of Usd because my model has a slight positive beta to the dollar, thus yen will give me greater returns

Liquidated Some of my profits prior to FOMC speech this morning, according to FF explorer my strategy has an annualized 16% return. Comparing this to the Barclay's Hedge Global macro Index which returned 13% on investment over the same period of time, I beat the hedge fund industry with my system.

No stop loss, the only use of a stop loss in my type of strategy would be to prevent insolvency.
