pa has been sparked on eur/usd and rallied right in to a h4 supply zone. any comments for educational purposes? i see this short and
i do believe there was a headline that pushed price up but will not post in case it was rumour.

We noticed the level as well. Didn't trade it though
Most of us are taking some Rest, Relaxation and Reflection time in preparation for 2017.

In terms of education, the level is not great because of the amount of trading there but an assessment of other factors like profit margin, etc
would need to be done before it was considered as a trade-able level.
It goes without saying also that the level has to fit within the Top-down multiple time frame assessment framework

Hello, eurusd in asian session wasnt more liquidity and some wrong orders take price in this level. Nothing news, nothing fundamental...look at m1bad structure candles.

Greetings Michael and everyone else!

I just joined FF simply to start participating in this thread. I don't take this lightly, as I have been in the shadows toiling away at providing a new future for my family through trading, and trading with solely SD methods at that. But it gets lonely toiling away, hour after hour, day after day, and chart after 10's of thousands of charts. This thread seems like a good place to come out of the shadows a bit and say howdy to like-minded folks.

I started studying trading in FEB 2015, started trading options in AUG 2015. With my $2000 i made $27000 in profits in 4 months. Unfortunately, I also incurred $29000 in losses.

After putting in hundreds of hours of study and work on trend line and mean reversion trading, this result took my about a week for the tears and the sick feeling in my stomach to go away.

After this mourning, I dusted myself off on a quest to find out what really moved markets, and could this manifest itself on a price chart.

After days and days of endless research: enter Sam Seiden.

Details, I need details! Days and days of more research: enter Alfonso Moreno. God bless Alfonso for showing me exactly how to draw zones and the concepts of removing opposing zones and/or trendlines.

So, I didn't have much money to put aside for this sort of thing, but I scraped together $100 and threw it back into my options trading account. I started trading SPY options using SD on the daily chart, and since commissions were about $10 round trip, I had to make sure that I gained at least $11 to cover commissions and return a small profit. And over the months, it worked! I ran that $100 to $110 of the coming months. No losses. A great result, but too slow with too small an amount of money. I took a windfall in money to enter the Topstep trader program, but it didn't work for my schedule, and I never saw my family. So into forex I came, and my discovery of this thread, my discovery of ATK, and with a $150 I will begin my journey soon.

I will be trading ONLY EURUSD on daily/H4 as my entry timeframes, and would love to keep everyone abreast on my situation, post charts and whatnot.

Hello AKT and Everyone. Been a guest studying this thread and watching the Storehouse Analytics Channel and decided to take another step further and join the community. Im also new to FF and getting use to this platform.
Im a new trader, about 2.5 years. Started with fb groups and lots of youtube and ebooks. I learnt a lot but had an information overload. I also found myself looking for a style that was mechanical, which lead to Alfonzo's Thread ad Channel. After awhile i found the Storehouse Analytics Channel and Thread and it has also helped a lot in my understanding of the Supply and Demand methodology.
At the moment i want to focus on Swing Trading but i want to be able to correctly identify, draw and understand my zones first. Ill be using combinations of M, W, D, H8, and H4. I appreciate all feedback. Thank you!

downtrend could continue in 2017 and we'll see if it tests the main bottom in the 1045 area and if it finds demand there , as you say , or if it breaks it

There is no giving up for me. I feel like I have the future of my family within my grasp. I see it. I taste it. Now time to execute. First on a demo for a few weeks or perhaps a month, and then live.

Alfonso's thread is a real blessing for traders in supply and demand, as are his videos.


On your monthly chart, if i may, excellent analysis.. one thing, the monthly is in an uptrend, not consolidation. One SZ has been removed and yes, you can draw that upward momentum line. those 2 pieces of information fulfill one of the two definitions of an uptrend.

In addition, a better gauge of profit margins is to be done on smaller timeframes

Hello Everyone

It's the first post of 2017 for me.

I would like to use it to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous new year.

Like me, you have probably said a similar thing to many people and been told the same by your friends and loved ones. I sure have.

Here's the thing, it is good to wish others well, it is important, it is necessary, it is good.

The truth is that to have a happy and prosperous 2017, it really comes down to one person...YOU!!

You decide how your year will be by what you think, what you decide to focus on, what you give attention to.

Give positive attention to your goals,to your dreams to your aspirations.

Do that, and for sure your year will be rich and full.

Give negative attention to your memories, your mistakes and failures and it may not go so good.

Change something. Don't let 2017 come and go like 2016, even if 2016 was a great year, 2017 will be better.

You decide.

So, i say to you all in light of the above....I WISH EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
