Posting on Twitter, Donald Trump rebuffed any suggestion that he would not have been able to take on Barack Obama had the current president run again. Mr Obama suggested in an interview with his former aide David Axelrod that he could have won the election if he was allowed to run for a third term. The President, who will leave the White House in January to make way for Mr Trump, said he believed he could win based on the view that Americans still subscribe to his vision and ideals. Never, as I stated this is the problem. Tobacco should be illegal, yet they try to ban products to get people off tobacco. We have no cures for disease because there is more money in the medicine. Obama would have easily win Trump in any election run. Period. Obama is simply head and shoulders above Trump on every level.
Obama was undermined by those who hated seeing him being so popular.

Trump have been captured already by the Russians and Netanyahu. Trump will try to please them instead of doing his job.

Trump will not even come close to fulfill 30% of his election promises.

That's the key line, nobody knows, it's all a guess and how many times have we all been wrong when guessing? Yes, we've often been right as well when guessing.

I'm a big Trump fan and think he'll do great (guess) but the fear I have is being President is not like being a Dictator (do as I say or you'll be shot) so he might find 101 road blocks in his way as everyone on the inside tries to defend their turf.

Actually you are incorrect. Trump is going to do infrastructure but not by borrowing money, and not in the same way that Obama was going to do it as you pointed out. The repatriation Holiday tax is how Trump will do it, and he won't even need congress to approve it. It is a plan that has many skeptics, but it can work if done right, and if he pulls it off it will be brilliant! Not sure why all the hate you have for this man, maybe you are just misinformed, but give the man a chance, he hasn't even taken office yet!

Fair enough. I have seen a lot of comments on this site denigrating Trump and his proposals and the guy hasn't even taken office yet. What is most disturbing about it, is none of the comments even talk about his policies but instead resort to epithets that is neither substantiated or true, but repeating MSM narratives. I didn't vote for him, nor have I voted for his predecessor, but I am not about to rush to judgement because of his so called public persona. I focus on policies and how I can navigate within the new rules of business, such as Tax breaks, investment opportunities, and most important how we all can return to being civil to each other again. If the last 8 years has taught me anything, it has been anything but harmonious. I just want to see governance return to practical terms instead of being ruled by ideology. That also goes for a lot of European countries faced with similar challenges. After all returning to some semblance of peace throughout the world should be our number one objective in such challenging times.

Yes! I think it is healthy to be skeptical, but do so with a open mind is all I advocate. So far I am cautiously optimistic as to what the future will bring. Even if Mr. Trump can achieve 50% of his agenda, I think that would be a major victory. Perhaps we may see a little of the Machiavellian approach to neutralize that 101 road blocks you speak of. After all Trump is a master of using leverage to get what he wants, how he uses that same concept as a politician for the greater good will be interesting to see.
