DTT, dax30 already said he wasn't sharing his system. Please do not get hung up on this. There are many systems/methods that will make money for you. DAX30 told you how to proceed above.

Dax30 trading interests me because all of the mechanical systems I have seen seemed very difficult to trade, low profit factor compared to manual price action trading. Dax30 trades also do not look like trades that I would take but it works for him and truthfully I have not studied his trades in detail.

My challenge with discretionary trading, non mechanical, is that it is mentally tiring for me and I have a hard time maintaining focus. Dax30 is using a program to carry the load. My experience is that the challenge with program trading is not messing with the trades manually. I can trade better than any program I have seen but I do not have endurance and have trouble staying "in the moment." Even if Dax30 gave me his system, I would not be able to make it work for me without tearing it apart and rebuilding it and maybe not even then. He has faith in the system because he built it and knows it inside out.

Let's take him up on his challenge. Look for profitable Trade Explorers with disclosed systems.

I have been here in FF for more than 8 years. Nope, never seen a trade explorer attached to a trading system that can survive more than 3 months. Seriously, it's depressing if you say it like this. Out of the thousands system posted here, i don't think i have seen one. Has anyone seen one here?

One of the reason can be, that after you put your trades public, there is new psychological pressure on a trader and he/she is doing stupid things under the pressure.

Why would anyone post their system, results online when he/she made let's say 1 million dollars? Motive could be: looking for fame, looking to be a guru, looking to be admired etc.

Why do you not think positive way, by putting out his journal, he is under our watchs, I would think Dax30 will trade better , more disciplined, especially he said perseverance is key in his trading

I am not talking about Dax30, whom I wish all the best and 1 million soon. I am replying to someone implying there are no traders which are profitable longer than 3 months.

More than 3 months manual trading..not that I am the only one, you were not reading good enough.
It can always be better.
But even if all TEs would be profitable it doesn't matter for you. You have to find your own profitable way.

I think there are many traders that have profitable systems for well over 3 months. I dont have a trade explorer but you can check out my trading here.

I think you guys misunderstood me. What i was trying to say is try to find under the trading systems section here in FF. How many of them have a trade explorer attached to the thread starter? And how many of them lasted for more than 3 months before putting down for whatever reasons. Be it personal or commercial.

I am not trying to say there aren't good traders here in this forum. But usually those who "teach" for free here and outline their trading systems here are mostly the blind leading the blind. Don't bash me because i appreciate those who "teach" for free but sometimes it's really hard to tell who are the blind ones here. Is it the thread starters(teacher) or the followers (students)? Or maybe it's just both.

So my point is like this, if there is any good systems here in FF with a trade explorer attached, i think it's a goldmine here. But so far, i haven't seen any sadly. Even if there is a trade explorer attached to it, it is mostly hidden. Well, i respect the privacy thing so it's very conflicting here.

Anyway, i am done rambling.

The purpose of this journal to keep track of my accounts and hoping to demonstrate that its possible to take home a monthly income from forex over a certain period. Hi Dax, nice post and result...

I believe in the way you trade and make money. I create my own system like you do, but almost the same, trading very short in graph 5M, 15M and 1 hour chart. Not need many indicators, looking some support, resistance and price moving. I believe many good and profit traders must have their own system too. Me, personally can be consistent after 10 years of trading, finding the best way that i can understand and know the risk.

Dax can you answer this for me.

you trade certain EA's on certain pairs at different times. for example you might trade EuroChf with a certain EA only during the Asian session. surely then you will be face with many occasions where you have open trades running (EChf trade opened just before close of asian session when you are about to turn off EA). Am I correct? what do you do?

Nice results. I am also specializing in mechanical trading. I assume that before you start using EA on real accounts you make backtests. One more question about DD and deposit: How big DD (in %) you expect on beginning?
I`m limiting my Risk & trying maximize my profits.
