I agree with the approach here. Most traders say to find one strategy and stick to it. But as most who have traded for a while know, you cant have one strategy for all market types. Market changes all the time. Strategies that worked a year or more ago may not work now, or a strategy may work one month but not the next. But the next month if they kept trading it would have picked up again. In most cases the trader will give up on the strategy and jump to the next one only to find the same thing happens.
There are also the traders who try to develop multiple strategies to trade the different market types but you never know when a market is trending or ranging until the trend or range has begun, and then you never know when it will end until it has ended..... Hense always chasing your tail.
I like this idea of trading different strategies on different accounts i think its a good way to manage your trading and get good results.
