The Dollar strengthened tremendously over the past several weeks and with the Fed rate hike last week it is likely that doesn't change anytime soon.

The Dollar Index is up from around 95 at the beginning of September; that is an increase of nearly 8.5%. Meanwhile, the moves in the Euro and Yen have been even greater. The Yen has surged from approximately 100 to 117, while the Euro has gone from 1.13 to 1.04. Big moves, the Dollar is 17% stronger against the Yen and 8% stronger against the Euro.
The Emerging Market currencies have also had their struggles against the Dollar since September. The Singapore Dollar has weakened nearly 7.5%, the Korean Won 6%, Mexican Peso 9%.
The damage has also been done to the emerging markets equity prices as well. The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSEARCA:EEM) is down from roughly $37 to around $35, or little over 5%.
Right now, the US equity market seems not to be paying attention much to or at least thinking about the ramification of a strong Dollar. The consequences are likely coming and likely to get worse.
Spreads between global bonds yields continue to get wider, with the US 10-year yield currently around 2.55% and German Bund yields at 0.25%; the spread is now nearly 2.3%. The largest spread in almost 30 years.

Introduction to Fundamental Analysis

There are two main approaches to analyse the market during trading sessions, and both are popular among traders. One is called Technical Analysis, and predicts changes in the market based on past occurrences, market tendencies and behavior. Another one is Fundamental Analysis, which focuses on current events very closely, in order to try and predict how the market will turn.

When doing fundamental analysis, a trader studies the overall state of the economy, concentrating mainly on elements closely related to his trade. Why Conduct Fundamental Analysis

This type of analysis is for traders who wish to dig deeper into the financial world. What stands behind any type of analysis is the wish to avoid surprises that might jeopardize the trader’s money. The decision by the Bank of Japan will need to take into consideration of the FED decision of December 14, 2016.

BANK OF JAPAN (BOJ) AND JAPANESE YEN IN THE TRADERS' SPOTLIGHT

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Japan (BoJ) will announce its decision regarding its key policy interest rate on Tuesday night, December 20th, at 03:00 GMT. BOJ Governor Haruhiko Kuroda will hold a press conference that can result in unexpected volatility shifts in major forex pairs and Asian stocks.

According to prevailing forecasts, the Japanese central bank is expected to keep its negative interest rate unchanged at -0.1%.

The release will likely be met with high volatility in Japanese yen (JPY) currency pairs. Top instruments to follow: USD/JPY (US dollar to Japanese yen), EUR/JPY (euro to Japanese yen), NIKKEI 225 (premiere index of Japanese stocks) and Nintendo Co Ltd (NASDAQ:NTDOY) stock CFD.

Closing Comments from Benjaminis: Many if not most reading my research will perhaps say that there is too much information to read and understand and you are probably right HOWEVER the reason that I have put all of this here in case anyone wants to understand the main reason is to show how my Trade Plan has developed and what has changed over the last week. In any Trade Plan it is important to continually review NEW FACTS to verify that the Trade Plan still has a realistic chance to happen. The DECISION by the FED on December 14, 2016 only 5 days ago added to the PERCEPTION and the REALITY being two vastly different things and that is why the Dow continued towards 20,000 and the USD/JPY turned again and headed towards 120.00.

I love the idea of success as peace of mind. It's being able to look yourself in the mirror and know that you've done the best you can, that you're not perfect, but that you're continually learning and improving.

Some traders trade to not lose and so they never really win. Other traders cannot accept the wins they achieve and have to keep trading and keep trading until they eventually lose. Neither group achieves the peace of mind that comes from focusing on the process of development rather than the recent outcome of performance.

Thanks to a savvy trader for passing along this Harvard Business Review article on goal-setting. The article makes clear that the way in which we set goals greatly impacts the probability of our success and the mindset we're likely to come away with. For example, research suggests that 41% of items on people's to-do lists never get done. The average professional has 150 tasks to accomplish at any one time. It's difficult to reach a point of peace of mind when you're continually trying to keep up with expanding demands.

The article stresses the importance of keeping goal-setting flexible and doable. Flexible means revising goals at intervals: for example, setting monthly goals rather than annual ones. Doable means that both the number of goals and their difficulty be set in such a way as to set us up for success rather than frustration. Many big goals can be broken down into a sequence of smaller ones that create an ongoing sense of progress and momentum.

One exercise I recently discussed with traders is to define each day one thing in two categories that will be accomplished to make the day a productive, successful one. Those categories include your most important goal for your trading and your most important goal for your personal life. The trading goal is taken from your most recent performance and involves either building on a recent strength/success or correcting a recent mistake or shortcoming. The personal goal involves building into your day some activity that generates happiness, fulfillment, energy, and/or closeness to others.

So each day, you're exercising some function to become better in your work and to become better as a person. Over time, the accumulation of small goals creates large changes. The idea is to make each day a win, regardless of the P/L of the moment. That creates peace of mind, and peace of mind frees us up to trade with open minds.

Jim Rickards in Debate of Gold, SDRs, or More of the Same?

While meeting up last month in London, Jim Rickards in debate joined forces with Ann Pettifor for a discussion for the ages. The center of the debate was on the “Future of the International Monetary System – Gold, SDRs, or More of the Same.” The two economic heavyweights come from highly respective backgrounds and offer a unique perspective in their own right together with our Daily Reckoning UK colleagues.

Ann Pettifor is a UK analyst focused on the global financial system and works as a director at UK based organization, Policy Research in Macroeconomics (PRIME). Her latest book, Just Money: How Society Can Break the Despotic Power of Finance covered the social impact of the global monetary system. She was one of the few economist who predicted the financial crisis years prior to the aftermath of 2008 and is widely celebrated as a leading voice for UK analysis.
Jim Rickards is an economist and macroeconomic analyst who just released his latest New York Times bestseller The Road to Ruin. Jim Rickards worked for decades on Wall Street and has advised various departments within the U.S government regarding international monetary currency systems.

When prompted about what is the future of the monetary system Pettifor responded:
“The future of the global monetary system is in very dire straights. We have known that for some time now. The Bank of England is beginning to panic. It has been panicking behind the scenes for some time, now together with the OECD, the IMF and the Bank of International Settlements. The world is being allowed to go on as if everything is normal.”

“What is so extraordinary about what has happened since the crisis is that nothing has happened. Nothing has changed. Structurally, the global financial monetary system remains exactly as it was. What we’ve had is a massive private debt bubble, not a public debt bubble, that hasn’t burst. It is still out there.”
“The problem is, as we have eased up in Britain, it has dipped a little since 2007 but it is where it was in 2005. The reason why this private debt bubble has not been burst, has not been brought down and not been deleveraged is because there is not enough money to pay it down. Debts do not rot with old age. Debt rises exponentially and mathematically.”

“The future of the monetary system is very precarious and fragile. As we get more authoritarian governments, we are moving toward a new age… Who is going to be in charge of the new international monetary system? Is it going to be under private authority? Is it going to be Goldman Sachs that is going to run our monetary system? Or is it going to be under public, democratic, and accountable authority? That’s the choice.”
Jim Rickards presented by posing a question “are capital markets a complex system?”

“We have to confront the fact that if capital markets are a complex system, [then] none of the models that the regulators, the bankers and the risk managers are using correspond to reality. They are at best obsolete and at worst dangerously wrong.”

“This is one reason why regulators and bankers never see the crisis coming. They are always ill prepared for when they come. They always underestimate the magnitude. Their reactionary function is slow and plotting because they don’t actually understand what’s happening.”

“Complex systems are prone to collapse. They build and build and periodically collapse. It is the instability of the total system that we need to be concerned about. The worst thing that can happen in a complex system is… that if you double the size of the system, you do not double the risk. You increase the risk by a factor of five, or perhaps ten, and increase the risk exponentially.”

“In 2008, all we heard about was “too big to fail.” Since 2008, the five largest banks in the United States are all larger, they have a larger percentage of the total banking assets, there is greater concentration, they have much larger derivatives books. Everything that was too big to fail in 2008 is bigger and more dangerous today. And given the complexity of the system the risk is far greater than what we had in 2008.”

Ann Pettifor responded pointedly on the current state of the monetary system stating that, “The financial system exists to serve the real economy. Before the crisis banks used to lend. We invented the banking system in order to have institutions that would manage the credit system for us.”

“After the crisis we started lending to the banks. We deposited more money into the banking system than the banking system lent out. This is bizarre and perverse. Why has it happened? It is a human, social construct. It is something that we’ve built over time.”

Jim Rickards pushed forward on money and exchange noting that, “there is an invisible confidence boundary. You will cross it. You won’t know that you did until it’s too late. You’ll find out the hard way. We are now dealing with a much larger scale of risk.”

“I think a lot of Ann’s remedies could work. But they won’t be implemented in time before the calamity comes. In the next crisis when everyone wants their money back from the banks, the liquidity will come from the IMF in the form of trillions of SDR’s. If it works, it will only be because nobody understands it because ultimately it is fiat money. They will then lose greater confidence and begin to ask – where is the gold?”

I want to explain that going Short US30 of 10 units for total margin used of $1050 US is not the same as going Short US30 on the equity markets.

The positions stay open until they are closed which is a plus as whatever happens in the world whether the execution of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey or the Terrorist attack a few hours ago in Germany then these news and life and death events are reflected LIVE in the Forex markets.

Here is a printout of the 10 open units or one Position of $100,000 US dollars on the shorting of US30.

As of 4.20pm ET, electoral college voting has been finalized in “at least 43 states, with 259 votes for Donald J. Trump and 115 for Hillary Clinton.” (NYT, December 19, 2016).
Mr. Trump needs 270 votes for his Election Day victory to become official. The count is evolving very rapidly.
The results of the electoral college vote confirming Mr. Trump’s victory will most probably be confirmed within the next couple of hours.
UDATE: 5.30pm Its official, Donald Trump has surpassed the required 270 votes. 36 of 38 Texas electors voted for Trump. One voted for Ron Paul and another for John Kasich.
UPDATE: 5.26PM EST. Texas will be reporting votes within the next few minutes, which will confirm Trump’s 270 required votes. At the moment, prior to the Texas results, Trump has 268 votes.
UPDATE: The latest figures at 4.30pm EST: Donald Trump has 265 votes; Hillary Clinton has 160 votes. There are 109 votes pending. It’s not yet official but these results suggest a Trump win of the College Vote.

Soft Protests
US news media report protest movements of several hundred in several state capitals urging College Electors not to vote for Trump. No significant mass movements took place. No shift in votes has occurred in relation to Trump.
The propaganda “fake news” campaign led by the mainstream media (with the support of Obama and CIA Director John Brennan) portraying Trump as a Russian agent has failed dismally.
The NYT acknowledges that:
Despite calls for electors to defy the voters in states carried by Mr. Trump, the only signs of “faithless” electors have been in states that Mrs. Clinton won. (NYT, December 19, 2016)
The most pernicious “hate news” attack on Trump was on NBC’s Saturday Night Live which intimated that if Donald Trump becomes president, “he will kill us all”.

MPS shares fell 8.5% in early trading this morning as the bank began its attempt to entice institutional and retail investors to snap up fresh shares. The bank wants 40,000 retail investors and savers to take part in a complex 5 billion (4.18bn) bailout. The Tuscan lender said it is pressing ahead with a highly-ambitious plan to persuade private investors to convert their bonds into shares. This process must be completed in the next two weeks - by the end of the year.

MPS has become the focus of fears about the Italian banking system, which is on the verge of collapse with 360 billion of bad debts amassed in recent years. Unicredit, Italys biggest bank, last week announced plans to raise 13 billion through a record-breaking share issue and slash another 11% of the workforce
The risk of bail-ins in the 4 trillion banking system in Italy remains high and if the current bailout attempt does not work, then it is expected that the EU will force the Italian government to enforce the new EU and G20 enacted bail-in legislation which would see individual savers, including small and medium size enterprises, having some of their savings confiscated.

There are state guarantees on bank deposits of 100,000 in most EU jurisdictions but it is important to realise that this arbitrary "guarantee" figure could be reduced significantly in event of a large bank or many large banks failing.
Bail-ins are now the rule in most Western countries and depositors need to begin preparing by diversifying and not have all their saving eggs in the banking basket. An important way to protect investments and savings is to be diversified and have a healthy allocation to physical gold in non bank, allocated and segregated storage.

The executive chairman of Templeton Emerging Markets Group was speaking at the ‘Gold in Islamic Finance’ conference organised by the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), the World Gold Council and Amanie Advisors and held in Dubai last Thursday.
“This standard is a God send. We have a global standard for gold. This is innovative and revolutionary” said Mark Mobius.

Dr Mobius drew the audiences attention to the growth potential in both the emerging markets and Islamic World of 1.6 billion people and some 100 million investors.

“This Shariah gold standard is a Godsend for those Islamic households that would like to invest in gold funds”
He drew attention to the economic growth of both the UAE and China and the growing middle classes and their increasing sophistication in terms of embracing tecnnology in terms of smartphone and internet penetration.

ETFs represent 30% of all mutual funds and this is growing rapidly he said, but these ETFs pose some risk and they are ‘following the crowd.’
He is monitoring the growth in gold ETF inflows, plus the ‘stealth buying’ being done by central banks such as Russia and China.

Mobius emphasised the importance of the fact that the new Shariah gold standard is all about the ownership of the underlying asset – allocated physical gold coins and or bars. He noted that the payment or exchange of cash must happen at the exchange of ownership.
He emphasised there will be a credibility problem even for gold-backed ETFs. He stated that the “issue of physical gold is a big one” and that just storing gold at the NY Fed Reserve in exchange for a receipt is not prudent.

Large bullion banks act as custodians for the gold held in gold ETFs and the custodians are generally subject to supervision by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Bank of England.

The new Shariah Gold Standard is one of the reasons that Mobius is bullish on gold in 2017 and in the long term. He believes that gold will advance by 15 percent before the end of 2017 as the Federal Reserve will go slow on increasing interest rates leading to increased gold bullion demand.

The Trump Bump vs. Gold vs. Yellen’s Keynesian Analysis
For much of 2016, gold’s price action was whipsawed by market speculation about whether or not the Fed would raise interest rates in a final, grand gesture to ring out the month of December, as well as the soon-ending Obama administration. In essence, all year, the golden spotlight has been on Yellen.
When pondering the Fed and its impact on gold price trends, there’s one line of questions. Will rates remain the same at the next meeting or will rates increase? If so, by how much?

Earlier this year, as markets perceived low probability of a Fed rate increase, gold prices drifted higher, and lifted mining shares on the rising tide. When probability of a Fed rate increase appeared higher, gold sold down and took mining shares with it.
As of last week, we have our much-anticipated, end of year, quarter-point rate increase, with accompanying guidance to expect three more rate moves in 2017.

Apparently, and notwithstanding Trump and the “jobs, jobs, jobs”-thrust of his recent presidential campaign, the Fed believes that the U.S. economy is strong and getting stronger. Thus, it’s time to raise rates and cool down the overheated engine of growth and employment.

Since Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election, broad markets firmed up and moved ahead, while gold corrected downwards. Here’s a chart that tracks the Dow Jones average ($INDU) against the daily gold contract ($GOLD). You can see the remarkable Dow-gold divergence, beginning right around election day.

Looking back to September and October, notice how the Dow traded in a range; then it took off after Trump won. It’s what I call the “Trump Bump.”
Gold prices took a hit in early October, as the chart shows. At the time, the idea was that the plunge anticipated the Fed’s rate increase in December. Then gold prices recovered, up until the wee hours of election night, when yellow metal began another downward track.

So, what does the future hold? Nobody knows. But I expect that we’ll see a true contest of wills between Trump, and his Make America Great Again optimism; versus Yellen, and her sense that the economy is heating up and requires Fed interest rate ministrations to cool it all down.

Along the lines of that impending contest of wills, a few weeks ago, I was organizing boxes in my basement. Purely by coincidence, I found a collection of old Harvard student course catalogs from 1972 through 1978 when I studied geology there.

Yellen earned a PhD in economics from Yale University in 1971. Her thesis was entitled Employment, output and capital accumulation in an open economy: a disequilibrium approach, prepared under the supervision of Nobel laureates James Tobin and Joseph Stiglitz. Degree in hand, Yellen migrated north to Cambridge, and went on payroll as an assistant professor of economics at Harvard, 1971–76.

Yellen had quite a group of distinguished colleagues, back then. While paging through the dusty tomes, I saw familiar names of old professors, from whom I took an economics course or two – Otto Eckstein, Kenneth Arrow, Robert Dorfman, Wassily Leontief. And then there was Janet Yellen, Assistant Professor of Economics, with her bright future still to come.

In 1972–73, Yellen taught a course in “Aggregative Economic Policy.” This covered “Theories of national income determination, employment, interest, investment, money, and economic growth from Keynes to the present.”

In 1973–74, Yellen taught that course again; with the same name, except the course description changed to “Keynesian and post-Keynesian theories of national income determination, introduction to monetary theory, cyclical fluctuations and economic growth.”
A year later, after a leave of absence, Yellen taught two courses, entitled “Macroeconomic Theory” and “Economic Theory.” The first course covered “Keynesian and classical models of employment and income determination; theories of inflation, aggregate fluctuations and growth; principles of stabilization policy; theories of consumption, investment and portfolio choice.”

The second course during that year covered “Static Keynesian models and their classical antecedents; modern monetarist and post-Keynesian models; theories of consumption, investment, and portfolio behavior; theories of aggregate fluctuation and inflation; economic models and policy optimization.”
Notice anything about Yellen’s courses? One sees the name Keynes prominently. In essence, Yellen taught party-line, Keynesian economics.

Keynesian economists believe that private sector economic decisions often lead to what they perceive as “inefficient” macroeconomic outcomes. The economy just doesn’t do what central bankers and government planners want it to do. People don’t behave properly, at the “micro”-level (call it the “Trump”-level, for current purposes), and their cumulative sins all add up to grave policy faults and inefficiencies. Something must be done to correct the resulting inefficiencies.

The policy solution to economic inefficiency is that a modern economy requires active measures by a (supposedly) wise and knowledgeable central bank, working in tandem with effective fiscal policy by the (supposedly) all-seeing, all-knowing government. The idea is to “stabilize output” over any given business cycle.

The long and short is that Keynesian economics advocates a “mixed economy,” in which the private sector jumps through policy hoops created by government and its legions of Very Smart People. The end-state in all of this is to avoid terrible things called “recessions.”


I won’t belabor the preceding points; people write long books about Keynesianism, versus, say, the “Austrian” school of economics. People argue over the merits of recessions, to clean out the muck from an economy. People argue over whether or not to attempt to control business cycles, if that’s even possible. All that, and much more.


For our purposes in Gold Speculator, my view is that Ms. Yellen’s deep-down, inner Keynesian instinct is happy to see the downward-sloping $GOLD trend in the chart above. But also, she’s unhappy with that up-trending $INDU line, and certainly with the idea of a Trump Bump, and what it means in terms of her worldview.

Yellen, and her Keynesian cohorts at the Fed, will do what they can to reign-in the robust and overheating – she evidently believes – U.S. economy… whether it’s robust and overheating or not. She’s like a doctor with but one standard remedy, no matter what the illness.

Thus, as 2017 unfolds, we’re setting up for a battle royale, worthy of Wrestle-Mania at its finest. In one corner, we have incoming, President-elect Trump – with his go-go-go, charge ahead view of moving the economy. With his $3 trillion gathering of tech-heads. With many campaign promises to keep about “bringing back jobs” and such. In the other corner, we have a cadre of PhD-level, central bank policy wonks who really do believe their own hocus pocus.
Much of the looming battle will play out in the public forum, and we’ll be able to watch it live, and in real-time. Other elements of this epic battle of monetary policy will be at the Deep-State level, behind tightly closed doors. We’ll hear leaks and rumors, to be sure. And along the way, the price of gold will be one key barometer of whose ideas are prevailing.

At this point, I’m reminded of the words of the late Russian writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, discussing the profound contradictions of his own, Soviet era, just before an entire empire came crashing down. He mused that, “We have arrived at an intellectual chaos.”

Exactly. Intellectual chaos. Buy rumors, sell news. Gold will have its day again.

Will USDJPY Slip Further on BoJ?

The U.S. dollar traded higher against all of the major currencies today except for USD/JPY, which extended its losses for the second day in a row. The topsy-turvy moves in U.S. rates stripped the dollar of its gains against other major currencies. Taking a look at the charts, USD/JPY could drop all the way down to 114 and the uptrend would still remain intact. On a shorter term perspective, we expect the currency pair to fall to 116 and find support near that level. This move could be driven by tonights Bank of Japan monetary policy decision. Earlier this year, a number of economists believed that the Bank of Japan would unleash a strong dose of stimulus at the end of 2016. However that was before the Japanese Yen lost more than 10% of its value versus the U.S. dollar and British pound. For an export dependent nation like Japan a weak currency goes a long way in boosting growth and driving up inflation the 2 main goals of easier monetary policy. While Japan would most certainly welcome an even weaker currency, especially since the following table shows limited improvements in Japans economy over the past 3 months, there is no immediate need for the Bank of Japan to act especially since the Fed is doing much of the heavy lifting with their hawkishness which should drive the dollar higher and the Yen lower in the coming year.

The big question for the Bank of Japan is how they feel about the surge in Japanese yields. Ten year JGB rates have risen to their highest level since January. The challenges posed by the rise in yields offsets the benefits of a weaker Yen so investors will be interested in hearing how that affects their views on the economy and monetary policy. Theres also been talk of tapering and if it is mentioned again at tonights meeting, it could extend the gains for the Yen. While we dont expect a big move in the Yen on the Bank of Japans monetary policy announcement (because no change is expected), we are looking an upbeat outlook that could extend the latest pullback in USD/JPY.

While there are a number of U.S. economic reports scheduled for release this week, none of these reports are expected to have a significant impact on the greenback. However, the dollar received a nice boost from Janet Yellen who made commencement remarks in Baltimore today. She described the current jobs market as the strongest in a decade and said wage growth is picking up. However she admitted that challenges remain with growth slower than past recoveries and productivity disappointing. None of these comments are new but they reminded everyone that the Fed is optimistic and the U.S. economy is improving which stands in sharp contrast to some other major economies. With that in mind, the latest PMI numbers from Markit economics were lower. Existing home sales are scheduled for release tomorrow and a pullback is expected after last months rise.

The euro ended the day lower versus the U.S. dollar despite a stronger than expected German IFO report. The business climate index rose to 111 from 110.4. The current assessment component of the report rose strongly from 115.6 to 116.6 while the expectations component ticked up modestly. This indicates that while German businesses feel good about present activity, they are skeptical about future demand, which could translate into lower investment spending activity. IFO Chief Fuest was upbeat stating that the German economy was in a festive mood. He also mentioned assessments of the current business situation improved, reaching their highest level since February 2012. The business outlook for the first half of 2017 is also slightly more optimistic. Germanys construction sector continues to break records and the boom is expected to continue for the coming months. German producer prices are scheduled for release tomorrow. No economic reports were released from the U.K. but sterling also traded lower.

Aside from the Japanese Yen the commodity currencies are also in focus this week. While there are no major economic reports expected from the U.S., Eurozone and U.K., there are a number of important releases due from Australia, New Zealand and Canada starting with tonights Reserve Bank of Australia meeting minutes. The last time the RBA met, they offered a benign outlook for the Australian economy with the central bank saying, some slowing in the year end growth rate is likely. At the time AUDUSD traders were disappointed but the drop in the currency was short-lived. We dont believe tonights meeting minutes will provide much support to the beleaguered currency. AUD/USD still appears poised for a move down to 0.7150. Although both the Canadian and New Zealand dollars lost ground, the best performing commodity currency today was NZD thanks in part to better than expected New Zealand data. Service sector activity accelerated last month, building permits increased and business confidence improved. GDP and trade numbers are scheduled for release later this week but there is a dairy auction on the calendar tomorrow. No data was released from Canada but retail sales and consumer prices are due for release on Thursday and thats when the focus will shift to the Canadian dollar.

Keep your Eyes on the 10 Year US Bonds especially after the BOJ decision.

Common types of currency issued by official order are valued based on the issuing authoritys guarantee to pay the stated (face) amount on demand, and not on any intrinsic worth or extrinsic backing. All national currencies in circulation, issued and managed by the respective central banks, are fiat currencies.

There simple is not enough fiat currency on circulation to pay off all national and business debts even if we exclude government guarantees.
Most what is called money is an accounting entry now in cyberspace.

Computer currencies are a bridge over mental gap between the common belief in money and the requirements of what money truly does.

All of this is based on confidence in a system whose foundation of convincing on a continuing basis a public that the fiat currency can pretend and extend an illusion of real money whose definition is other than that universally held now and whose foundation is set in the cement of a pure illusion without backing in kind, uninsured and failing badly in many respects.

Please keep in mind that President Elect Trump is a proven master at the use of bankruptcy in business to set a foundation upon which a going concern can replace the previous failed entity or system of operation of the entity.

Not only is the monetary system insolvent if called upon to perform in even a modesty percentage. The entire system would fail miserably. However, there is no lack of resources and productivity if incentivized to make the global system again functional and durable by making real, not pretend money the basis.
What is Mr. Trumps real business background?

He is a builder of brick and mortar.
He is a negotiator.
He has zero lack of self worth or abilities.

He is a master of using the economic tool of bankruptcy to restructure and retreat and from the conditions of financial bankruptcy.

Todays world is without any doubt a rolling bankruptcy whose foundation is pretend and extend. Inherently pretend and extend has shown no permanency anytime, anywhere. The Great Flush which must proceed the Great Reset has been, most disturbingly, war won or lost.

Therefore, the United States, one of the most powerful countries in the global system, is insolvent, that is true just on the factors of OTC derivatives and unfunded obligations. You need not be a genius to understand this.

As a result of all this nothing has been economically supplied to cure the basic problem. Pretend and extend has been the basis of the illusion that the system functions.

Why is gold hated, the dollar and the equity market always protected by the creation of more illusion that all is steady and the government and quasi government the underwriter of this.

Economic Potemkin City of money with stability. Why did gold move up and the general markets decline near $900 when the unexpected victory of President Elect Donald Trump occur? The answer is that a correct definition of the worlds new leader in known by some. It was the Hillary Clinton Plunge Protection Machine that rescued the market and pressured gold lower which was prepared in anticipation of a Clinton victory for the unexpected Trump victory.

There is an axiom that before a massive public will accept a new system as a way out, they must suffer severely. This is proven by history in every national bankruptcy of a nations currency. An example of note is the Weimar Republic that gave rise to the socialist leader, Hitler. In this example the war had to be lost for a Reset to happen. The reason I anticipate the Great Reset, is that the experiment of Globalism has failed miserably with the world now imitating the recklessness of massive Western Debt creation.

This is not the end of the world but rather the means of change to a new world that in the end might be quite abundant and peaceful. Just like a great fall caused no injury if you have prepared a large foam mattress for your family.

The injury comes via the means by which the fall stops. It is this that we work so hard to prepare you for in order for the transition by painless to you. It is not a game of gambling but of structuring in many ways to make your landing soft, not hard.

The means to the Great reset is in place and moving forward. It started with the nine exchanges opened for trading in PHYSICAL gold and silver. Premiums have been running in the $40-$45 basis on gold and $2 on silver.

The profit by arbitrage, which is the purchase and sale of the same item.


So here is your scenario:
1. Physical gold continues to rise under Mid Eastern and Russian demand plus the demand of sleeping giants in the US typically called One Percenters.

2. The physical gold arbitrage is not cheap requiring precise logistics, insurance, and relationships.

Trust which are hard to come by. Cooperation of a major gold refiner with in place logistics and payment systems plus trust is an absolute requirement.
All of this can be purchased except trust which is a product of long and fruitful relationships.

3. As the premium for gold, that is the price on the physical markets in China and Asia rises to over $50 and remains firm regardless of the ups and downs in the paper market the arbitrage will be profitable enough.

5. This Arbitrage has one place to come from and that is out of the paper gold warehouses to the refineries delivered directly to the account of the buyer or directly to the account of the physical exchange at the refinery.

6. Normal assays require 3 days and delivery according to logistics is prompt as one/two days or is made at the refineries.

7. Therefore the mechanics of the Great Reset has little to do with anything whatsoever except the size of the premium of physical over paper gold and silver plus the above criteria.

8. As this process continues the warehouse supply of all paper exchanges will continue to dwindle until the paper contract can longer function.

9. No longer function means even pretending to be able to make delivery when called upon right now for every one ounce of gold five hundred at twenty for are promised as deliverable. That is almost as crazy as the fraudulent OTC derivatives with no mark to market that we pretend has value.

10. When delivery from the paper exchange fails which it will, what is the value of a novated contract that cannot perform at the Comex? That is right. It is zero.

11. Since in the Hunt situation the first thing the board of directors at the Comex did was unilaterally changed (one side refuses to perform) the contract to Sellers Only. You can be sure the same people will do the same thing.

12. What do you think a contract that does not perform is worth? Again the correct answer is nothing.

13. As this occurs, which it has to, the paper gold contract loses all value. It is also useless if you are short because it will not perform for short the paper gold cover either. You cannot buy back a novated contract and meet the requirements for a short cover.

The reason is simple as a non novated contract for paper gold is entirely different than a regularly function paper gold contract since one is an apple and the other is a banana. You may have an 1100 plus fake profit you cannot collect one cent on.

As such all the normal causes of high gold and silver prices will play but a MINOR part in the unfolding drama. No group of wizards at any institution will figure this out, make it happen or stop it from happening as long as the price differential between paper gold and the price of the physical remain at or above the price of physical market for both.

In conclusion regardless of the drama unfolding or the opinion of so many new gurus no one word they say is correct in determination of the final price of gold.


All that matters is what is written above in points in 14 points.

Comex paper gold will be offered at a nominal price, say $5 offered and no bid. Physical gold will be between $3000 and $5000 big and offered by China, Russia and others.

I am regularly chastised for my dedicated bullishness in both my opinion on the gold price and on gold shares even though I am correct.

Now if per chance you could mine gold at let’s say $600 or so please inform me why you would sell it other than to meet immediate needs.
