Yes that is the best solution unless the author adds a news filter, also my v1.1 isn't opening trades anymore does anyone else have this issue? I hope these EA's are not time restricted lol

Well I am getting the distinct feeling these EA's have time restrictions on them.

No need,dont decrease time frame,increase it.as you increase time frame and get a big move on news the grid size will be larger,30 min time frame hasnt failed all week.gbpusd had a big fall yesterday and closed in profit today.1hr would serve you better if your trying to reduce drawdown but will limit proft as well.

Anyone else having problems with the EA's not working anymore? Like if you create a new demo and try to run it.

Hi,
when you think ea should have taken a trade,have a look at your journal,see if the trade was denied by broker.That way you will know if its the ea not pl;acing order or if something else is happening.
Im not sure yet,but I think ive noticed that once ea has closed out trades its not placing new ones unless mt4 is restarted..Im not 100% on this yet just an observation.

There are no actions at all happening in the journal, I would be surprised if the author has put a time restraint on these considering that he originally began this quest after MathTrader did the same with his own EA's
No trades the last 24 hours. Had been trading fine for the last few weeks.
Would like to go live with it.

No entries in the journal or experts tab. Using version 1.1 which worked great for me!

Do you mind posting which pairs you are using and what the setting are for those pairs?
I've been running v1.1 on demo account and keep getting wiped.

Just change timeframe on Metatrader to 30mn

I am using the settings in post#368, but and here is the important 'BUT': You need to stop trading for FOMC, ECB, NFP announcements and certain speeches of Draghi and Yellen. So not 'set and forget' by any means.
I work with a stop of $68 (per 0.01 lots), plus I am trading with 0.01 lots per $1,000 balance and max 15 steps.
In my extensive testing you will have a steady growth over time, but you will have loosing weeks if SL gets hit on unforeseen events.
EURUSD 5 min.

Forex is not a get rich quick, it is about slow and steady growth....

But right now, as posted the EA has stopped working. Hope it can get fixed.

I would still like some feedback on what the issue is with the v1.1 and why there are no trades anymore? Although considering your first post I would be surprised if you had also made them time limited.

my intention at first was to protect the people using this EA and therefore i used an end date. i want you to use the recent version and prevent the use of an old version with bugs. but actually i am also pretty happy because people already started selling signals and stuff with my EA. this is not what i wanted and therefore i have to think how i go on. maybe i will give versions which will work on AccountNumbers (you send me a PM) and with this i can regulate the usage.

Hello, i read your last post and what i think:
1.EA can made Best profit if we put your EA on multiple accounts with work scheme: [one account/one pair/minimum deposit].
2.As i think ANY martinEA lose your deposit. But if we use SMART MM, every day withdrawal profit from our accounts - then we can make fenomenal profit and PROTECTION from losses ALL deposit.

Therefore.... i think it is not good idea to protect your EA as "account sensetive". Or you can give 10 serial numbers per one hand????

I understand you as the author, as a developer. But we must come up with another way to protect works. Or to accept and not protect Advisor. If it will be free - the speed of your development will increase. If the advisor will be with the protection - you will lose most users.

Why not just make it work on demo only and then pm for account specific versions? I think that would be the best solution as you said. It's a shame because v1.1 was working great on some of my demo accounts but now I have to completely re-roll all of the work I put in change to v1.2 then v1.? and v1.? and so on, actually if you account for all of the hours everyone on your forum has put it it probably quite an amount of man hours of testing I recon.

Either way thanks, hopefully there will be some happy medium here.
haha I was think that this EA was solution with end date EA by mathtrader,but it repeats with this too.Good joke by edgeoxc and waste of time of others
