Stops and targets are mechanically generated but very dynamic because always checking ATR, to gauge volatility. So stops placement depend on how volatile market is at current time. Once the system places the stops I am not touching them, so its 95% mechanical.
I only make an intervention if there is too much exposure in one pair before major news, like FOMC etc, so i can trim down trades, or move SL to breakeven, etc. I consider that just using common sense as every trader has to deal with NFP, FOMC etc,.

Nice trading dax30! We would really appreciate it if you could give us some more information on the strategies that you are using. As you said, there are too many available on the forums and it is hard to pick the ones worth learning.

Hi,
The entire logic is much too complex to share in forum, sorry.
It contains many hundreds of lines of codes with many intricate rules and conditions.
In its raw form, it contains multiple components to take advantage of ranging and fast moving markets, so always partially diversified.
If I try to explain in oversimplified state, then would only cause confusion and people trying to use it half heartedly.

Hi, no offense, but a public EA not perform like this.
Normally, they are grids, martingale grids, martingales, asian scalpers (on a demo account), so mostly public EA follow same format, time and time again. The aim is only to dupe new traders to market, and sell lumps of gold dreams for $99.....

Some EA may be profitable, but very marginal due to high number of users.

Hate to be the 1 that delivers this news, first glance at youre performance, the truth is that this account wont last 8months, either you change you're approach or buckle up for a margin call......... once people understand the full definition of trading life would be more simpler and profitable, its a marathon not a race.

you don't know my stats so you can't make that judgement call.
I know my drawdown and I know that $ amount wont margin call a $5000 account.
Maybe if all experts here show a live account instead of being keyboard warriors life would be easier.

Don't be afraid, great minds could easily untangle complexity. Hundreds of lines of code are a piece of cake.

If you don't mind , outline the logic. Otherwise this is just a pointless thread.

To be fair its not completely pointless. Cettainly for me it helps in the respect initiallly outlined. There is so much BS in FF of late that its quite nice to see someone making what seems like consistent money. I would also love to have a little more discussion on the methodolgy but i dont think we're going to see much, it is a journal after all. Im curious about how it seems to take trades in both directions and how criteria can be met for this. I guess from the stops etc they are from different TF maybe. Would be nice to discuss around the subject a little for some of us to read between the lines a bit. Either way its good stuff and helps keep my dream alive i hope he continues and wish him all the best.
