I need GS to break out, perhaps announcement of former Squidbilly Mnuchin to Trump's Treasury head spot will do the trick?

I did some of these - long UVXY $35 Dec23 calls for 7c - I saw them bump to 21c this morn but I was not fast enough to grab the cash.....seeing 13c now....will give a chance for another bump

paid 22c for this skinny GS fly, if GS would fade a buck or two Thurs-Fri I might get a good finish, maybe net out 35-40c

Generally I'd like to see /ES pull back a bit this week, but I am wary of NFP Friday.....idk tho, I have SPX and some SPY spreads each way, one or more of them will hit well, as long as I am in the losers cheap, I'm good...

GS has blown past the high b/e of my fly. I had good net yesterday. Today, not. I gambled on a little pullback, and it still may come. Thought about exiting when I had good gain, coulda shoulda woulda

....GS now done $166 to $224 since the Election eve dip, near 35%

Bought quite a few DIA (ETF for DOW) put contracts for tomorrow for 8c, current DOW charts indicating a strong sell off plus volume is almost double its average

I looked at some healthcare related names......I'm not sure you can make a bull case for the sector in the face of the Death of ObamaCare. I could go into it but you can google it if you want.

I don't know about tomorrow, but I have to be bullish for December. I won't be surprised to see Dow touch 20,000 by year's end. I am shopping SPX call calendars and flys north of 2,350....

My Dec put calendar target was $118, launched that > a month ago, when TLT traded ~$132, TLT broke below $119 today....I am thinking of grabbing cash before the NFP.....

....Entered for 17c, worth $1.12 now.......I have a $1.80 net target - 10baggy, but.....pigs get slaughtered....

well, let us wish Cecil luck with his trades. When the index premia are cratering in these uptrends I will buy super cheap put flys to hedge bullish trades. There are still wildcards out there - the Austrian and Italian votes may send ripples thru the markets. The real threat though is the French vote in the Spring. Otherwise, threats are there but hidden, unknown events, and those are always there, can't plan a trade on them. I'm with you and I think the US indices will grind up generally well into Q1 '17. But it would be great to get a pullback, even a small one of a few %......

a 20-lot risks $40 + comms to make maxP a little > $1,000 less comms and b/e is at $220, with decent profit coming on at $222 - and that's at expiry

Cecil could be right, though - the Naz could be pointing the way. If there is a big NFP miss Friday, it will bring back uncertainty about the Dec FOMC, and the indices could slide right til the FOMC announcement....
