{quote} Didn't take that one (no divergence in my book). Took the next one instead but got out when I saw it stalling too long... {image}

Do I get it right that its "no divergence in your book" because you do not take into account wicks, only the body of the candle?
Thanks

Exactly. It won't make much difference when you have relatively small wicks and a very obvious divergence but it doesn't cost more drawing them right in the first place...

Excellent! What is your commission (round turn) and spread? My broker "amplifies" the spread by 4 before the exact open time...

Well, you're making pips, even with hidden divergence this time...

Hi USFantasy
I am using 5min TF and 1min TF to set TP SL is based on 5min or 15 min if I think a bit of wiggle room is needed
I did forget to note that I am using RSI 10 and not 14.
Hey GO5 I will take whatever is given lol. I had noted that the initial drive was down and should have waited for the chance to buy, which came later on, (see chart)
But I jumped on the opportunity when it came up.

Interesting thread - for those using divergence, I find the OsMa indicator to be superior to the RSI or stoch

for those interested please put both indicators on the chart and see for yourself[attach]2083868
Hope the op dont mind me putting this out there.
