continue from my last posts :
new tablet notebook computer to replace my old desktop computer.
connections (descriptions and explanations):
1. micro USB3.0 socket on the display panel with the original OTG short extension cable (convert to normal USB socket : OTG cable is only used as USB2.0 connection by the specification so Window control-panel shows) in order that buy a USB2.0 4ports hub is connected. it is fine to work with all 4 devices on the all 4 ports on the hub.
2. keyboard docking station is actually a primary USB2.0 composite device for the tablet notebook computer (display panel). when a USB2.0 4ports hub (secondary USB device) is connected to the station's USB2.0 socket, which is not working with any USB devices (tertiary) on the hub : electric current (Amperes) is not enough but using USB3.0 4ports hub is working with 2 USB devices : a USB-to-LAN and my old low-profile USB cable mouse (new USB cable mouse requires larger Amperes so it is not working with my USB-to-LAN together on the hub connections).
---
the coming weekend:
as the USB3.0 4ports hub (has micro-B SuperSpeed socket) comes with a micro-B SuperSpeed plug to normal USB3.0 plug cable, so a micro-B plug to micro-B SuperSpeed plug cable is required to make use the USB3.0 function on the micro USB3.0 socket. (try to find this cable in the market and then test it in the future).
---
maybe buy some old-model (low-profile) devices for spare parts and buy some USB-to-(specified function) devices for future expansions but must be plug-and-play (no drivers is required to install the hardware as tablet notebook computer does not have DVD-rw drives).
