FX Viper, a guy who is well recognised as a multimilion dolar trader seems to me like a complete amateur. And I say that after watching "Day Trader Documentary - A day in the life of a multimillionaire forex trader" you can find on youtube.

1) He's very emotional about every single trade.
2) No plan - closed a transaction because... because of what exactly?
3) There is this close up which clearly shows that he's adding to a losing position.

This is exactly the opposite to what I've learnt over the years. Out of all the books that I've read I believe Van K. Tharp's "Trade your way to financial freedom" is the essence that summarises what needs to be done and how. I'm sorry FX Viper but you really act in a completely opposite way on that video and couple of screens in front of you won't make any difference.

On the other hand, he presents himself as a great success, so he must be doing something right. So what is it than? Do you know any people who are genuinely successful and you could prove it? I don't mean Soros, or Lipschultz. I'm thinking about individual traders. Or maybe you know any more stories of self-claimed successes?

I'll be glad to see your responses.

Nice post,
After a year on demo,
I started add new position to won ones.
Last few weeks my demo ac improved.
I never average down to lost one ( I try anyway not to :-) ),

Great book too, Van K. Tharp's "Trade your way to financial freedom"
And "Big Short" (a part about buying cheap options is cool)

It all depends on the trader 's track record, and i think FX viper has one on myfxbook with good long results,so most probably he is legit.
But sometimes a trader's way of expressing himself make you suspect him,for example i don't trust any trader who says i scan the markets looking for a trade,so for me this kind of trader are delusional and losing ,unless of course i see their profitable track record.

The only track record that would make me believe Fx viper is legit is the one where he makes two posts on a forum: one at the open, and another one at the close of every transaction, with close to none delay. But he's a scalper so it would be hard for him right?
